To create this card, I hot foiled the Strawberries in Gold Foil and then used the coordinating stencils to add in the color.  I love how easy this is!

Altenew

Next, I added a scored frame around the card front for a little extra detail.  To finish off the card, I used the Versatile Greetings Die set, along with some Brushed Gold Metallic Cardstock to add in the sentiment.  LOVE this Brushed Gold Cardstock!!  Such a gorgeous look!

Are you new to hot foiling?

To get the gorgeous hot foiled look, you need a platform called Glimmer Hot Foil System.  This platform heats up the Hot Foil Plates.  Altenew has Hot Foil Plates in ALL different types....sentiments, florals, backgrounds, graphic details etc....and add the most gorgeous foiling detail to your cards.  And the foils?  There are LOTS of different colors to chose from!

Here are some links to help point you in the right direction....

The Glimmer Hot Foil System works great with a Platinum 6 Die Cut machine from Spellbinders but also works with other die cut machines. You can click HERE to see a compatibility chart.

First you heat up the platform and your glimmer plate on the Glimmer System Platform.  Then you add in the foil and the cardstock and run it thorough your die cut machine.  Once you pull off the foil negative, the magic happens!  That foil that is set on your cardstock and the results are just gorgeous!

A little info about commenting here on my blog....

My comments are moderated because I get a ton of spam.  The kind of spam that tells me about cholesterol medication, among others, and just weird bot comments so I filter those out.  If you leave a comment and don't see it, thats ok!  I will see it and I will get it posted for you.

The other issue is wether or not you need a google account.  I have my comments set to "anyone" so technically you should be able to leave a comment with any type of login, but Blogger is a pain.  If you can't leave a comment and are not sure if you your name is posting along with your comment, please add your name and email address to the end of your comment. This way we can see who you are if your comment gets chosen as a winner!  I am sorry for the annoyance.  I have no idea why it doesn't work like it should.  I have googled and switched settings around and tried all the things but again... Blogger is a pain.

The Greetery - New Beginnings Day 2

Hi friends!  It’s day 2 of The Greetery reveal!  Have you loved all the inspiration from the Design Team?  There is so much to see!  And so many gorgeous cards!  I have some more to share today too.  So let’s get started.  Don’t forget to leave a comment on each of the stops on today’s hop….there are 2-$50 gift certificates to win!  More chances to win with each blog!

This first card showcases the newest Botanicuts…the Morning Glory!  The Botanicut die sets are always so much fun and for this clean and simple card maker, a definite go to!  These Morning Glories are so easy!!

The Greetery

To create this card, I used the smallest Crimped Frame Die, cut it in thirds and popped it up on the bottom of the card base.  This gives a fun little sectioned off look on the card and a fun foundation to showcase the amazing Morning Glory.  I die cut the Morning Glory in white cardstock and then ink blended in the color.  After assembling, I added it to the card front with foam squares for a little more dimension.  To finish off the card, I added some clear dew drops for a little extra detail.

The Greetery

This card was made using the new Spring Meadows Stencil. I LOVE how this stencil blends out.  You will be able to use it in so many ways!  Here is what I did….

The Greetery

I used pink cardstock and blended in color to create this gorgeous bouquet of flowers.  Using one of the Postal Frames Dies, I cut out the center of the card front.  I saved the negative frame and attached it directly to a pink card base.  With the main focal point, I splattered some white paint and sprayed a little glitter and then popped it up on the card front with foam tape.  I stamped and die cut a beautiful sentiment from the New Day Sentiment Set and popped it up on the card.  So much detail and so simple all at the same time!

The Greetery

It wouldn’t be a proper release without me creating a super clean and simple card.  I was able to use the Jumbo Curio: Feather dies to create one!

The Greetery

I used a dark gray card base and stamped a sentiment from New Day Sentiments in black ink.  After die cutting the feathers out of a light gray cardstock, I masked off the bottom of each and sponged on some gold ink. I popped them up with foam squares to finish it off!  So simple!

The Greetery

See the FULL March Release by clicking HERE!  It will be live Friday, March 10th at 10am EST.

I hope you have enjoyed today’s cards!  I know the rest of the girls will have lots more to see.  Don’t forget to leave a comment at each blog for more chances to win one of the $50 gift certificates over at The Greetery.

The Greetery - New Beginnings Day 1

Hello friends!  So glad you stopped by today. I have lots to share for this latest release from The Greetery called New Beginnings.  Everything you see here today will be available Friday, March 10th at 10am EST over at The Greetery's Shop.

Today's cards are all super springy (yes, I am soooo ready for spring!) and all with a fun Green theme to theme.  Let's get started!

This first card showcases the new Baby Face: Sweet Pea Die set.  This card was so much fun to make!

The Greetery

To create this card, I die cut all the pieces in white cardstock and then did some ink blending to add color.  After assembly, I added the stamped faces from the Baby Face Sentiment Stamp Set.  I also added in some glitter for a little bit of shine!  After adding it to a Postal Frame Die, I stamped the sentiment in black ink.  I popped the focal point up onto a striped, green card base.

The Greetery

Next up, we have the latest in the Tear Strip Tags line....Easter!  (And there is a Spring stamp set too!)

The Greetery

I die cut the Tear Strip Tags in 4 different colors of cardstock, added the heat embossed sentiment to the green tag and then popped up the cutest little bunny ever!  This is the new Bunny Kisses Die!  Love it!!

The Greetery

This last card combines 2 new products....the Rejoice Hot Foil Plate and the Spring Sprays Stencil and Die Set.  These 2 work together to create a beautiful spring card.

The Greetery

I hot foiled the Rejoice in gold foil on a white card front.  Next, I ink blended out those gorgeous flowers from the Spring Sprays Stencil set.  Using the coordinating die, I die cut each spray out and then popped them up around the foiled sentiment.  I added in some Alcohol Marker detail to the flowers and then finished them all off with an enamel dot.

The Greetery

The Greetery is giving away 2 - $50 gift certificates to 2 lucky winners chosen from comments along today's hop. Leave a comment on each stop for more chances to win!
