You're Awesome {BRAND NEW Spellbinders}...

I had to stop in here today with a new die set from Spellbinders that is ABSOLUTELY adorable!  This is from the new 3D Vignettes Collection and its called Retro Television.  This die set was made to create the cutest box, but with a little creative license, I turned it into the most fun card project.

Spellbinders

The dies are super easy to lay out with all the color you want and assembly is really fast!  I added in some silver Cardstock to give several of the components some shine.  The die set has a couple of sentiment dies too, so the project possibilities are endless.  I added the retro tv to a white card base after school several lines across the bottom.

Thanks so much for stopping in today.  Check out Becca Feeken's full release today!

The Greetery - A Song of Christmas Day 4...

Good morning and welcome to the last day of reveals for the Song of Christmas release over at The Greetery.  Have you loved everything you've seen so far?  This last day has even more fun new stamps dies and stencils so hang on tight!

Don't forget to leave a comment for your chance to win 1 of 2, $50 gift certificates to The Greetery along every stop on today's hop.

Lets get starting with the new Figgy Pudding Box Die.  This new die is absolutely adorable and so easy to put together.  My next job is to make this into a little valentines treat with a hot pink base and hearts on top!

The Greetery

I used Stickles to trace the icing lid for a little extra sparkle.

The Greetery

I kept the box simple using one of the new Holly Topper Embellishments.  These would make the most adorable table decorations for each plate at Christmas!

The Greetery

Next up, the new Stamp/Stencil combo called Cooking Up Christmas.  This set has SO many possibilities as it can be made into a full card front or die cut the elements and add them to create a card of your own.

The Greetery

There is a new die set called Frosty Pines.  This die set creates the most gorgeous trees that are super easy to layer up.  They are designed so you can add a white layer to the top of each bough in white cardstock to give them the appearance of snow, but I kept mine simple with one layer of green cardstock and then added snow to each branch.  I layered them onto a masked off background with some light blue inking and then adde din a sentiment to finish off the card.

The Greetery

I won't be available for an IG Live this month BUT I did a quick video sharing all of the new stamps and dies.  It wasn't the same without you!  I love sharing and chatting about the new release so next time, I will be back!  The video is over at The Greetery's blog today!

The Greetery - A Song of Christmas Release Day 2...

Ohhhhh its day 2 of The Greetery reveals!  This latest release is called A Song of Christmas and it is PACKED with all the fun things just in time for Christmas Cards!!  I have 2 cards to share today using some of the new goodies....and of course a thing or 2 from the past.  You know how I love to toss in our already loved Greetery products.  Scroll down to see my projects and don't forget to leave a comment on each stop today!  More chances to win, 1 of 2, $50 gift certificates from The Greetery!

To get started, The Greetery has 4 new Jumbo Curiosity Ornaments in different shapes and details.  Today, I am using the new Jumbo Curiosity Round Ornament.  I love the details that can be added in.  After cutting out the ornament and adding in the gold details, I decided to hang it from the BotaniCuts Pine Bough Die with a big ole' red bow!!  I haven't used ribbon on my cards in forever so this was FUN!!  I layered it on a Crimped Frame Die and then added that to a base using the new Pine and Berry Background Stamp.

The Greetery-LWillison

Throwing in some non-traditional colors, I made this card using the Mistletoe Arches Stencil set.  After doing some ink blending, I added in some Copic detail and then used the coordinating die to cut it out.  I popped it up on the white card base after blending the arch in the middle.  I stamped the sentiment from Arched Holiday Sentiments in the center and the finished the card off with some Christmas Red Stickles.

The Greetery

I won't be available for an IG Live this month BUT I did a quick video sharing all of the new stamps and dies.  It wasn't the same without you!  I love sharing and chatting about the new release so next time, I will be back!  Watch for that video on Thursday over at The Greetery's blog.

The Greetery - A Song of Christmas Release Day 1...

Welcome to day 1 of The Greetery - A Song of Christmas release!  We have 3 days of reveals to share with you and then release day will be Friday, October 7th at 10am EST.  Today I have 3 clean and simple cards to share using several new products for this months holiday release.  Hold on to your seats because there is lots to see this week and it is all sprinkled with The Greetery magic!

Keep scrolling to see today's projects, learn about the giveaway and see a full list of stops to make.  Don't forgot to leave a comment on each blog today for more chances to win!

First up I used the new Heaven and Nature Sing Stamp, Stencil and Die combo to create this card.  The stencils allow you to add color to the background of the Treble Clef.  The dies cut out the greenery and also the embossed Treble Clef.  I added the sentiment with the coordinating sentiment set.

The Greetery

Next up is the Peaceful Olive Stamp and Stencil set.  I went rogue here....I turned the olives into berries just to change it up and I think it worked out.  Created little berry stems instead!  I used the Peaceful Olive Cover Plate to cut out the branches and then did a little trimming to use only the bottom half on my card front.  Last, I added the sentiment along the top to finish off the card.

The Greetery

One more super quick and easy card....using the Peaceful Doves Die and Stamp Set.  I stamped the sentiment and then die cut the doves and one little branch.  I added the dove just under the sentiment with foam squares and then added the green branch in the doves mouth to complete the card.

Spellbinders September Glimmer Kit of the Month...

The month of September has a gorgeous new Glimmer Kit over at Spellbinders!  I just love this Hot Foil Plate and its coordinating die....

Spellbinders

First, I added some stripes to a white card base.  Next, I ran the hot foil plate through the Glimmer Hot Foil System.  New to foiling?  Keep scrolling for a mini how-to on hot foiling.  I used some Altenew Alcohol Markers to add in color to the foiled images.

Spellbinders

Last, I die cut the sentiment from Mix and Match Holiday Greetings out of gold cardstock and added to the card front.

Are you new to hot foiling?

Spellbinders has a platform called Glimmer Hot Foil System.  This platform heats up metal plates called Glimmer Plates.  These glimmer plates come in ALL different types....sentiments, florals, backgrounds, graphic details etc....and add the most gorgeous foiling detail to your cards.  And the foils?  There are LOTS of different colors to chose from!

Here are some links to help point you in the right direction....

The Glimmer Hot Foil System works great with a Platinum 6 Die Cut machine from Spellbinders but also works with other die cut machines. You can click HERE to see a compatibility chart.

First you heat up the platform and your glimmer plate on the Glimmer System Platform.  Then you add in the foil and the cardstock and run it thorough your die cut machine.  Once you pull off the foil negative, the magic happens!  That foil that is set on your cardstock and the results are just gorgeous!
