Friends are golden {Spellbinders}...

Hey friends! Hope you are having a great Saturday! I am dealing with my 2nd round of Vertigo. Geez. Who has time for all the dizziness? Let me know in the comments if you have ever dealt with it and if you have any suggestions.

On to more fun things! Yana had a new collection come out over at Spellbinders and it is gorgeous!! Today I am using the new die set Magnolia Blooms, the new foil plates from Geo Foliage and a sentiment from her past collection, Yana's Special Sentiments.

First, off the in background, I actually used Yana's Skinny Stripe Background Hot Foil Plate just for the embossing of those gorgeous stripes. Love that plate! Next, I die cut the blooms and the shade all in white cardstock and then added simple color with Copics. I added that to the front and then tucked in little stems from the Geo Foliage around the sentiment.

The Greetery Release Day!

Good morning! Are you so excited for today's release? Tell me in the comments what your favorite new product is for today! If you are seeing this early, The Greetery Release goes live today (1/21) at 10am eastern time.

I am loving so many of the new products but I have to say.....the strawberries. Good gravy they are cute!!

I wanted to make one last quick and simple card using the berries in a solid cardstock with no added detail to show just how cute they are on their own....

To create this card, I first added in some light ink blending using Altenew's Mountain Mist Ink and their AMAZING ink blender. It created the perfect soft background. Next, I scored a 1/2" frame around the card front with my Score-Pal. I grabbed the set called Always in Bloom to add in the sentiment along the top and bottom of the scored frame. After die cutting the strawberries and leaves, I glued them together with Bearly Art Glue and then added foam squares to the back of each piece....this was they are perfectly popped up on the card front. To finish the card, I added some clear drops around the strawberries.

The Greetery Confections Collection Day 2....

Welcome to day 2 of the Confections Collection product reveal from The Greetery. Have you loved what you have seen so far? So many fun new products for sure! I have 2 projects today....a full list of stops at the bottom of today's post, and don't for to come hang out with me at 11am CST today (1/20) for the live over at The Greetery's Instagram page. I am going to share all the new products up close and we can chat and stamp a little too!

Let's get started!

I am fairly smitten over this first new die set....Bontanicuts: Strawberries. These dies look SO realistic and are full of detail. I added the Square Dance Die in the background after using the Square Dance Stencils to add in some color....Vineyard Berry, the same color I used on yesterday's cookie box...bc I just love that pink and thought it would be fun to have pink strawberries just to change things up!

I added the Frosted Frames around the outside of the card and the placed the strawberries at the top with foam dots for dimension. Next, I added in the Happy Die cut from the new All Kinds of Happy Die Set. Seriously LOVE this new set of happy dies! Its adorable!! Last, I stamped the "birthday" from the All Kinds of Happy Stamp set on a banner from Sentiment Suite Basic Die Set.

One last quick and easy project using the new Curio: Confections Dies. Love these little dies as they can be chocolates or cookies or any fun little treat you can think of. I had to use the plate again....I just love those Crimped Circle dies. I added 3 cookies after decorating them up with the new Strawberry Bits, Heart Bits and Candy Crumble Bits. To make it super quick and easy, I die cut all those cookie pieces out of white cardstock and used Copics to add in the color.

I used the inside of the Frosted Frames to create the little doily for my card front. I stamped the most adorable sentiment from Love and Cookies on the bottom in Altenew's Pink Diamond Ink.

The Greetery Confections Collection Day 1...

Let's get started!

This first card was created using the new set Sweet Tooth and the Sweet Tooth Dies. I stamped and die cut the donuts and sweets first so I had several things to pick from for my card front. (Plus they are just so fun to stamp out, so now I have extra!) I grabbed a white card base and added the Frosted Frames to the card base. The outer frame is popped up on foam strips and then inner, curly part, is glue down directly to the card front. Love that little bit of dimension to add in both frames.

(On this first project I used all Pinkfresh Inks. They are all linked below in my supply list.)

Next, I arranged the sweets along the bottom and then die cut the Piped Sentiments: Sweets Die for the top of the card. I heat embossed the "Birthday Wishes" from Love and Cookies on a little banner from Sentiment Suite Basics Die set. To finish off the card, I added in some clear drops around the front for some sparkle.

For my next project, I brought in the Stationary Box Die to create a little cookie treat!

First, I die cut the box pieces and masked them off to add in stenciling with the Square Dance Stencil on the top. Using the Love and Cookies Stamp Set and dies, I added a fun little scene on the box top. Of course, I paired it with Greetery's famous Crimped Circle Dies and that little Cozy Cup Coaster.

(I used one ink pad for the entire project, stamping and stenciling, Altenew's Vineyard Berry. Down to ink blending on white cardstock before die cutting the coaster. Love how it all matches this way but still shows different shades of the same color!)

On the other side of the box, I used the Stationary Box Die to cut out the little scoop and then added a Disc Magnet for the closure. I decorate the top of the flap with 2 little Heart Dies.

Are you new to hot foiling?

Altenew Craft Your Life: Feathered Lillies Card Kit Blog Hop

Altenew has another gorgeous Craft Your Life Kit available today! This kit is called Feathered Lillies. I just adorable this large stamp set combined with the coordinating stencils to create a quick and easy card.

After blending the ink onto the image, I die cut the image and a piece of fun foam. I attached the fun foam die cut on the back of the bloom to create the perfect 3D image for my card front. I used a sentiment from the set to finish off the card.
