Gnomes...so cute right?

Have you seen the Dancin' Gnome dies from Spellbinders?  They are so stinking cute!  And so fun!   Dancin’ Gnome Etched Dies is from the Be Merry Collection with a set of 13 thin metal dies. When assembled, it makes an adorable gnome. Even more fun, he dances with his moving arms and legs. So unique! This set also includes accents for the gnome and tree design options.

Be Merry is a collection of sweet holiday icons that will brighten up anyone’s spirits! This ensemble has everything you need to help create handmade Christmas cheer for family and friends!

I added the TE Rectangle Masking Stencil in the background for al little frame of ink blending. I cut some snow sloped out of white cardstock and added those to the background.  I die cut all the pieces to the gnome and trees, along with the snowflakes, and added all the pieces to the card front.  I grabbed a hot foil sentiment and popped that up too!

Merry Blooms MUST have Card Kit!!

You guys.  I have to tell you about this card kit!  Taylored Expressions has a new kit available today!  It's called Merry Blooms...check it out by clicking HERE!  It's SO much fun!!

I have 2 cards to share using everything from the kit!  The stamps and dies included are SO perfect for making this years Christmas cards and LOTS of them!  The large background stamp and stencil to coordinate in the coloring, work so well together to create this...

Taylored Expressions

First, I stamped the greenery using the background stamp.  The stencils added in the red poinsettias and then the clear stamps included added in the detail on the flowers and leaves.  I used my Rectangle Masking Stencil to add in the frame of slight red ink blending and then finished off the flowers with Gold Stickles....bc Stickles make everything better!  :)  Last, I did a little more ink blending on white cardstock, heat embossed the gold sentiment and popped that up in the center of the card.  Super quick and easy!

Using the die flower dies in the kit, I created these quick Poinsettias.  I stamped the details and the leaves in green.  Using the sentiment set, which is amazing by the way, I stamped the sentiment in black ink.  Using my Rectangle Masking Stencil once again, I used it for an outline around my card front to create the frame.  I love that detail!!

Taylored Expressions

Here are the details about this months kit...

Here’s everything included the Merry Blooms Kit – which is available for $69:

  • Merry Blooms Stamp, Stencil, & Clear Combo set
  • Perfect Poinsettia die collection
  • Clearly Crafty Joyful Season stamp set
  • Bits & Pieces – Red Pearl & Gold Drip Drop Mix
  • 6 A2 Envelopes: Sugar Cube, Toffee, Cherry Pop, Mulled Wine, Djion, and Cilantro

A super easy Happy Birthday!

I adore this new set from The Greetery called Container Garden.  It works perfectly in the new Jumbo Jar Die but it also works beautifully on a card base all by itself.

The Greetery

To create this card, I stamped the stems and leaves, first in Altenew's Parrot Ink and then the darker shaded step in Altenew's Olive Ink.  I love that bright green combo!  Next, I grabbed Taylored Expressions Frayed Edge Masking Stencil to make the perfect "dirt" base.  It gave the perfect edge and texture for sure!  I love when supplies can work as a "two-fer" LOL!

One of my favorite dies from The Greetery is the Postal Frames Set.  I just love how much detail it adds to a card front and still keeps it simple at the same time!  I used that to cut out my little garden scene and then went back in to add the blooms and the bees (Polar Bear ink from Altenew makes the perfect Bee wings!) up on foam tape!  I love the dimension.  All the ink colors are linked below in my supply list for the rest of the blooms!

To finish off today's card, I added in a few clear drops....yes I want to put them on EVERY card!  I layered the card front onto a yellow striped card base to give it an extra pop of color!  That sentiment is from Top Down Day.  I love that font!!

So that is it for today!  I just had to stop back in and share another card with this latest Greetery Release!  Such fun products in this July release!

Hope you are all doing well!  Have a great weekend!

My 2 favorite are the Glimmer Hot Foil Kit and the Card Kit.  I have enjoyed the Card Kit so much lately.  It is SO easy to create lots and lots of cards very quickly!  And, of course, my favorite is the Glimmer Hot Foil Kit.  There is just something so amazing about adding a little pop of gold foil to your card fronts.  I love the shine!

Today, I combined both kits for a very quick and simple card...

Spellbinders

Using Gold Foil, I added the Dotted Frame on white cardstock and then cut it down to work as the front panel for a SlimLine card base.  Next, I grabbed the stamp set from the Card Kit and added the hello in black ink.  Last, I used the adorable layered butterfly stickers from the Card Kit and added 3 on the card front panel.  Talk about easy!  I love a good quick and simple card!

Are you new to hot foiling?

Spellbinders has a platform called Glimmer Hot Foil System.  This platform heats up metal plates called Glimmer Plates.  These glimmer plates come in ALL different types....sentiments, florals, backgrounds, graphic details etc....and add the most gorgeous foiling detail to your cards.  And the foils?  There are LOTS of different colors to chose from!

Here are some links to help point you in the right direction....

The Glimmer Hot Foil System works great with a Platinum 6 Die Cut machine from Spellbinders but also works with other die cut machines. You can click HERE to see a compatibility chart.

First you heat up the platform and your glimmer plate on the Glimmer System Platform.  Then you add in the foil and the cardstock and run it thorough your die cut machine.  Once you pull off the foil negative, the magic happens!  That foil that is set on your cardstock and the results are just gorgeous!

Here is one last card to share using the new die called A Side of Greens.  I used my Altenew Watercolor Brushes to add different shades of green to this die cut.  I love the detail it adds to the side of the card.

The Greetery

Next, I added in blooms and bees from the new stamp set called Container Garden and their coordinating dies.  I love these blooms!  The shading and detail are so pretty!!  To finish off this card, I stamped sentiments from Opposites Attract and added them to the card front with foam tape for some dimension.

THE GREETERY CAPTURING SUMMER REVEALS DAY 2...

Good morning!  Today is Day 2 of the reveals for  The Greetery's latest release!  Capturing Summer is

full of beautiful stamps and dies that definitely put off the summer vibe!

Here is my first card using the new Botanicuts Geranium Dies.  I added some watercolor to the die cuts and layered them together, along with the pretty pot die to create this card....

The Greetery

This next card is super simple, using the new stamp set called Container Garden.  I stamped them on the Jumbo Jar Die cut and then added in the flowers and those adorable bees with a simple hello sentiment along the bottom.

The Greetery

For my last quick and simple card, I used the new Curio Collection to create this card.  After die cutting the Curio Cover Die, I added a little ink blending to the negatives.  I die cut the Curio Summer Findings all in white cardstock and popped them up on each panel.  The Curio Labels Stamp Set added the perfect, simple hello on the card front to finish it off!

The Greetery

Remember everything you see here today will be available tomorrow on release day, Wednesday, July 14th at 10am EST over at The Greetery!

Don't forget to leave a comment below for your chance to win one of 2, $50 gift cards to The Greetery!

That being said....

Quick note about commenting....I wanted to let you know that my comments are moderated due to a crazy amount of spam.  Unfortunately I have to turn that feature on or I get TONS of comments about High Blood Pressure and cholesterol medications, which is super annoying to sift through.   I had some questions so thought I would just post about it....once you leave your comment and hit enter, it will come though but won't post until I accept it.  Shout out to Blogger for making it a pain! LOL!
