Clean and Simple Cascade Card {Spellbinders}...

Hello friends!  Today I am stopping in with an awesome die set from Spellbinders.  The die set is called Christmas Cascade and it creates the the coolest little interactive cascading feature.  I have a card to share today with a little bit of color a cascading focal point with lots of white space.

To see this amazing die set, click HERE!

Spellbinders

To get started, I did a little bit of stenciling on a teal card base.  I love using non-traditional colors for Christmas.  Teal and red seem to be my go-to anymore.  Next, I die cut all the pieces in the die set in white card stock.

Spellbinders

One of the coordinating sets to the Cascade is called Snowflake Splendor.  There are 3 beautiful snowflakes included and they first perfectly on the squares of the cascade dies.

Spellbinders

I kept them all white just because I love white space so much and I think the detail really pops against the colored card base.  On the inside panel, I stamped Merry Christmas in red ink.

Thanks so much for coming by today!  Hope you have a great day!

Good morning, crafty friends!  Today is a fun day over at Taylored Expressions!  They are adding in 5 new Pastel Blender Brushes to the mix.  They are SO pretty and, of course, blend beautifully!  There is also a new tool caddy perfect for your work space.  Check them out by clicking below....

TE also has a great new release of 12 Stencils.....and they are amazing!!  You can grab the brushes, the took caddy and ALL of today's stencils by clicking HERE!

Pastel Blender Brushes + Stencil Bundle

I have 4 different stencils to share today!  I kept my cards super simple....whats new right?  But I wanted to let the stencils and the blending shine by themselves.  Here is a quick pic of the basic card bases I created using some gorgeous TE colors....

Taylored Expressions

From left to right....Mint Julep, Peaches n Cream, Salt Water Taffy and Honey.  Click HERE to check out all of the TE Ink Cubes.

This first card uses the A New Leaf Stencil and Salt Water Taffy Ink.....

Taylored Expressions

I used the stencil to emboss and then added in the soft blue blending over the top.  I finished this card off with some clue washi strips and the Hello die from TE.  To give it just a tiny bit of detail, I added in some wooden stars.

This next new stencil is called Breezy...

Taylored Expressions

I blended Mint Julep onto this amazing stencil and added the card front to a white card base.  Next, I stamped that gorgeous sentiment onto a circle die cut and added it to the card base after adding in some white and black cardstock strips.  To keep all the cards simple and coordinating, I added more wooden stars.

Taylored Expressions

Out of the 12 stencils, 3 of them are Mini Slim Stencils.  This one is called Cable Knit....

Taylored Expressions

I blended up a panel with Honey Ink and then die cut it with the Mini Slim Rectangle Die.  I added the kindness die cuts along with sentiments from the Kindness Stamp set...and finished it off with the stars.

Taylored Expressions

One last stencil today....this one is called Pretty Petals....

Taylored Expressions

Using this gorgeous stencil, I made a panel using Peaches n Cream Ink.  I cut the panel down to 1" strips and added them to a white card base with foam tape.  I stamped a sentiment on an extra white panel and added that to the card.  And, of course, finished it off with a little star detail.

Spellbinders October Clubs Blog Hop...

Good morning friends!  Today we are hopping along with Spellbinders and their club kits.  I have a project using the Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month, which is currently sold out, but is still available in the Value Kit.

Here is my fall card....

Spellbinders

First, I used the Happy Fall Ya'll plate to add the sentiment in the center of the card.

Spellbinders

I used the gorgeous leaf glimmer plate to add the leaves to a white card base.  Then I added the plate to several different colors of cardstock and cut them all out and then added them to the gold foiling on the card base.

Spellbinders

Check out that amazing gold shine....

Are you new to hot foiling?

Spellbinders has a platform called Glimmer Hot Foil System.  This platform heats up metal plates called Glimmer Plates.  These glimmer plates come in ALL different types....sentiments, florals, backgrounds, graphic details etc....and add the most gorgeous foiling detail to your cards.  And the foils?  There are LOTS of different colors to chose from!

Here are some links to help point you in the right direction....

The Glimmer Hot Foil System works great with a Platinum 6 Die Cut machine from Spellbinders but also works with other die cut machines. You can click HERE to see a compatibility chart.

So once the platform and your glimmer plate heat up, you add in the foil and the cardstock and run in thorough your die cut machine.  Once you pull off the foil negative, the magic happens!  That foil that is set on your cardstock is just gorgeous!

Hello everyone!  I am so excited to be hopping along with my friends at Simon Says Stamp today to showcase the new Make Merry Release.  This release is filled with some amazing new stamps and dies, just in time for the holiday!  Keep scrolling to see my projects, to learn about the prize and to see a full list of stops.

Here is my first project.....

Untitled

To create this card, I heat embossed this amazing leaf backgrounds stamp called All Leaves, onto a yellow card base.  I used my prismas and OMS to add in a little color.

Untitled

I die cut the Thanks die with white card stock and fun foam and layered them together for an easy dimensional sentiment to finish off the card.

Untitled

This next set is called Santa's Sleigh Ride Slider.  I saw these adorable images and went straight into a quick and simple, easy to mass produce stack of Christmas cards....

Untitled

I set the images up in my Misti and lined up the cards for a quick assembly line process.
I stamped each in Versamark and then heat embossed them all in white embossing powder...and done!  Now I have a great stack of one layer cards ready to mail!
