Ring in the new year with glamorous looks that feature lots of shimmer & shine. Use any of our glittered card stocks, metallic card stocks, foil dies, or technique of your choice to create unforgettable looks that sparkle.

I have a quick and simple card using MFT's Glitter Card Stock.  If you haven't tried their Glittered Cardstock.....well it will change your life.  Click HERE to check it out!

Today's card uses 3 MFT products....

MFT

To create this card, I cut down a piece of the Black and White Stripes pattered paper to fit the bottom of the card front.  Next, I die cut the celebrate die in the Silver Glittered Cardstock.

MFT

I popped the die cut up on another celebrate die cut out of fun foam for dimension.  After adding that to the top of the pattered paper, I added in some black pearls to finish off the card.

MFT

Check out the rest of the DT and what they have created for today by stopping over to the MFT Blog.

Hello, dear friend {Spellbinders}...

Hello friends!  I wanted to stop in to share a card I made awhile back using the new Hello Dear Friend Glimmer Hot Foil and Die Set.  I love LOVE this foil and die set for 2 reasons.....1.  I love that script font of the hello.  Its just so pretty!  and 2. The fact that it has a coordinating die is FABULOUS!  You can hot foil and die cut to put anywhere on your project.  So easy!

If you haven't seen the Glimmer Hot Foil System, click HERE.  This is a machine that heats up Glimmer plates and then you add foil and run it through your die cut machine. The heat activates the foil and it sticks to the card stock.  It leaves such a fun elegant look!

Check out today's card.....

Spellbinders

To create this card, I hot foiled the hello on white card stock and die cut it with the coordinating die.   I hot foiled the "dear friend" onto a white card base along the bottom.  Next, I took stripes of navy cardstock and added them to the card from tot create stripes.

Spellbinders

I grabbed 3 different colors of scraps and hot foiled the Glimmering Layered Flower Hot Foil Plate and Die Set.  I added pearl to the center of the heart before adding them to the card front.

Spellbinders

Last, I added the hello to the card front with foam squares for dimension.  This card was super easy to make!  I just love the shine that foil brings to the card front.

MFT Birthday Project...

Its Birthday Project time at MFT.  This month's challenge was made for me.  haha!  Or at least I'd like to think so!  :)

The challenge.....

We’re a bit busy this time of year…just us? Clean and simple cards are not only appealing, they can also be put together in minimal time (OK, the design process might take just as long but the assembly is quicker…right? Right??) so they are a great option when time is short, and you’d prefer to use fewer supplies to minimize clean up. Clean and simple is the theme this month — take a few minutes out of your busy schedule to see what you can come up with!

Here is my card....

MFT Birthday Project

To create this card, I used the Mini Staggered Circles to blend in the background on a half sent of white cardstock.

MFT Birthday Project

Using the Happy birthday Die-namics, I die cut into the polka background.  I cut another sheet of fun foam and layered the 2 for dimensional letters.  I added the letters to the card front using liquid glue with my press n seal method.....perfect arrangement every time!

MFT Birthday Project

Check out the rest of the MFT Design Team and their creations by heading over to the MFT Blog.  I hope you can play along!

Have a great day!

MFT December Vault....

Today is Day 2 of the MFT Vault Release.  Each month, MFT reaches back into the retired sets and brings some back to life.  There are several sets available now to purchase, so check out the MFT Shop to see them all.

Here is a card using the set called Strike Up the Band...

MFT December Vault

I love this set because both of my kids play the drums so, or course, I had to use this little bass drummer.   I colored it with Copics and die cut it using the coordinating die.

MFT December Vault

I scored a card front and added the sentiment and then popped the little drummer up on foam squares.  I added the card front to the card base with fun foam for one last pop of dimension.  Super clean and simple!

MFT December Vault

Head on over to the MFT Blog to see more about this month's Vault Release.  Thanks so much for coming by today!  Hope you have a great day!
