Altenew Craft-A-Flower: African Daisy Release Blog Hop

Hello friends!  Today Altenew is releasing a new Craft-A-Flower called the African Daisy.  It is so pretty and makes for the perfect clean and simple card!

To create this card, I lined a white card base with a scored, gray cardstock panel.  I stamped Love You on the side for a quick and easy sentiment.  Next, I layered up these gorgeous daisies and added some detail to them using gray and yellow Alcohol Markers.  To finish off each bloom, I filled the center with glossy accents.  Super easy!

How Far You Fly {Spellbinders}...

 I love clouds.  And I love Butterflies.  Spellbinders has some new products that helped me create this super clean and simple little scene and I wanted to stop in and share.  

First off the sentiment and butterfly are from the New Start Stamp Set.  The butterflies are super easy to color or even leave black and white!  Then we have the Head in the Clouds Embossing Folder.  I love this one!  I used a light blue ink and swipped it across the negative side of the embossing folder and then ran it through with white card stock.  I love the look with those puffy clouds.  For some extra dimension, I added in 3 of the On Cloud Nine cloud dies with foam tape. I attached the Butterly with another foam square and then added the panel to a white card base.  Stamping the coordinating sentiment was the final step in creating this super simple card!

Altenew Build-A-Flower: Belladonna Lily Release Blog Hop

 

Hello friends!  Welcome to the newest Build-A-Flower release.  Today's new flower is called the Belladonna Lily.....and it is gorgeous!!   Keep scrolling to check out today's project, the amazing Giveaway from Altenew and the full list of stops on today's hop.  Don't forget to leave a comment on each blog for more chances to win!

To create this card, I first cut out the Doodled Dot Cover Plate in white cardstock.  I trimmed 1/4 from the sides to expose the rough edge.  I curled some of the sided up for a more distressed look.  I added that to a white card base with foam squares for some dimension. 

Next I stamped out these gorgeous lilies!  These blooms are so easy to stamp and they make the perfect focal point for your card!  I added them to the front of the card with foam squares and then die cut a simple hello, from the Seasonal Blooms Die Set,  in black for the front.
