Spellbinders Glimmer Kit of the Month...

 Good morning!  I am stopping in today with the May Hot Foil Kit of the Month.  This kit is so much fun with the circle polka dot background plate and sentiments to complete your card!

Here is today's card...

To create this card, I hot foiled using Gold Foil on a white card base.  Keep scrolling to learn more about the hot foil process.  I added the Mini Blooms and Sprigs Die Set to the card to give it some color.  This flower die set is a must have!  So fun to put together!

This next card uses the Spellbinders Stamp of the Month.  I just love this font!  

To create this card, I added the Sweet Blooms Border to a yellow card front.  Next, I hot foiled and die cut this white circle using the Essential Glimmer Circles Hot Foil Plates.  I stamped the sentiment in black ink inside the circle and then finished the card off with the Mini Blooms and Sprigs die cuts.

Are you new to hot foiling?

Spellbinders has a platform called Glimmer Hot Foil System.  This platform heats up metal plates called Glimmer Plates.  These glimmer plates come in ALL different types....sentiments, florals, backgrounds, graphic details etc....and add the most gorgeous foiling detail to your cards.  And the foils?  There are LOTS of different colors to chose from!

The Glimmer Hot Foil System works great with a Platinum 6 Die Cut machine from Spellbinders but also works with other die cut machines. You can click HERE to see a compatibility chart.  

So once the platform and your glimmer plate heat up, you add in the foil and the cardstock and run in thorough your die cut machine.  Once you pull off the foil negative, the magic happens!  That foil that is set on your cardstock is just gorgeous!

Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Buttercup Layering Die Set Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

 

Have you absolutely fallen in love with Altenew's Craft-A-Flower die sets yet?  Well I have!  If you are new here, Altenew is a fabulous company who creates the most gorgeous florals...in stamp sets, stencils and dies!  Today's blog hop is all about the Craft-A-Flower: Buttercup.  The set of dies cuts out different shapes to build a gorgeous flower with shading and detail that is pretty amazing!

I googled the buttercup and figured that most would be yellow but guess what?  There are pink Buttercups.  So I went with it!  Here is today's card....

To create this quick and simple card, I laid out all my dies and cardstock ahead of time so I had a plan.  I die cut each piece with a different color to make this layered beauty...

After adhering all the pieces, I added a little Copic detail to the leaves and some bling around the front.  This die set also comes with an adorable little sentiment die so I added that in a coordinating color.

A2 to Mini Slim Sale! {Taylored Expressions}...

Good morning!  Taylored Expressions is having an awesome sale on a few of their adorable stamps and dies.  Today, the design team are sharing A2 to Mini Slim cards all made with the same supplies.  The select items used today are 30% through May 9th.

I used the Hey There Stamp Set along with its coordinating stencil set and dies!  

To create the A2 card, I used the Rectangle Masking Stencil, which works for an A2 sized card.  I stamped, stenciled and die cut the main sentiment and the die cut it, adding it to the card with a fun foam die cut for dimension.  Next, I used the set called Just Saying to add the sentiment along the bottom.  

To create the Slim Line card, I used the Slim Line Rectangle Masking Stencil and then followed the same steps to finish off this card.  Slim Line Cards are so fun to make!  Just a little different in size at 3 1/2 x 6".  Taylored Expressions even has Slim Line Envelopes.  You can see all the Slim Line Card supplies by clicking HERE!

Altenew Exotic Garden Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Good morning friends!  Today I am here to share a new Altenew Release called Exotic Garden.  I have a project to share using a gorgeous new layered stencil set.  Keep scrolling to check out today's project, the amazing Giveaway from Altenew and the full blog hop list!

Here is today's card....

To create this card, I grabbed the Dotted Swirls Debossing Cover Die and used it on a piece of white cardstock.  This new stencil is called the Bitterroot Flower Layering Stencil Set.  I used the Warm and Cozy Oval Ink set for the blooms and the Green Fields Ink Set for the leaves.  I love the warm colors in the blooms.

I cut out the main image with the coordinating die along with one extra piece of fun foam.  I attached the fun foam die to the back of the bloom die cut and attached it to the card front.  To finish off the card, I used the Circled Greetings: Thanks Die and trimmed the circle off just to be able to use the sentiment.  I attached it to the card front with another layer of fun foam and then coated it in glossy accents.
