Thanksgiving Inspirations...

It's time for our first group post over at Papertrey Ink.  We have lots of fun fall and thanksgiving inspiration up today.  The first card I have today used the new Color Pop: Autumn Mini Kit and dies....



I used the dies to create the popped up sentiment and then also used the dies to cut out those gorgeous leaves and acorns from the coordinating pattern paper.  

This next card showcases the new Splits: Giving Thanks...

I used the Cover Plate: Horizontal Stripes in the background and then added in the die cut image to the front of the card.  I heat embossed the image and did a little watercoloring to color in each little leaf.  

The last project I have is perfect for a hostess.  This set called Give Thanks, has sentiments included perfect for hostess gifts.  

I used PTI's Wine Tag die to create this kraft thank you.  I added some masked color along the bottom and the sentiments in white.  I popped up the acorns from the set with foam tape.

I aslo die cut some leaves and added them to the wine bottle with some twine ribbon.

Neat and Tangled Birthday Blog Hop...

I am so excited to be joining in for the week long birthday celebration over at Neat and Tangled. I am so lucky to count Danielle as one of my crafty friends (who I have even met in person) and am thrilled that she asked me to join in.

 I have a card today, using 2 new Neat and Tangles products, Celebrate Dies and Lucky Stars dies.



First, I embossed and die cut the white panel and added it to the card.  I colored a little rainbow pattern with some copies and cut out the main celebrate die.



I popped it up on foam tape for some dimension.  I added some glittery stars and glossy accents to the main sentiment to finish off the card.

PTI Countdown Day 1...

Welcome to Day 1 of the Papertrey Ink August release countdown.  I have a fun new background stamp to share with you today.  Lexi designed this amazing alphabet background with lots of different fonts all combined to create a fun background.  It's called Alphabet Soup.



For my first project, I stamped the image in black ink and then cut out a portion of the large image with Tag Sale #3 die.  Next, I used the same tag to cut out a vellum tag.  I used a sentiment from Apple Prints stamp set and heat embossed it on the bottom of the vellum tag.  I die cut and stamped an apple and stem from the same set.  I added that to the tag with a piece of foam tape for some dimension.  I finished the tag off but layering them with a piece of black twine.  Perfect for upcoming teacher gifts!

For my next project, I wanted to showcase the entire image...

I heat embossed the stamp on watercolor paper and then did a simple wash with three colors.  After it dried, I got brave and went in with some splatters of the pink watercolor.  I cut the image out and popped it up on fun foam on the card base, after I stamped the sentiment from Keep it Simple: From All of Us.  

I thought I would throw one more teacher card into the mix.  This one is a super simple card that would be easy to mass produce.  

I used a Soft Stone card base and stamped Alphabet Soup twice in Fresh Snow ink.  Then I used Enclosed: Apple for a quick and easy die cut sentiment.

Camp Create!

It's time for another Camp Create Video.  Head on over to the MFT Blog for today's lesson in Awesome Ombre!

MFT Product Launch...

MFT's August Release is here and ready to shop!  I have a card today share today using my3 newest, favorites...Monster Love, Peek-a-Boo Polka Dots Die and Triple Stripe Background....



First, I did some ink blending all over a piece of white cardstock.  Next, I did some water droplets for a fun affect.  Next, I ran the whole thing through with the Peek-a-Boo die.  I added that card front to my card base.

I stamped my colorful monsters with my Mini Misti, to get get nice dark coloring.  Last, I stamped the stripe on a piece of cardstock and then added the sentiment.  

I gave each monster glossy accent eyes and then added a white dot of paint to each eye, to finish off the card.
