Fathers, Food Fun and More...

Welcome to the first group post for the April Papertrey Ink Release.  Today, we are showcasing several fun new products.  I have matched several things up to make a fun little birthday gift.  Here is a quick shot of the birthday ensemble....



Starting off, this is the new Favor it: Fry Box...

My sweet friend, Audra, who makes the most amazing sugar cookies, made these adorable "french fry" cookies for me.  They fit perfectly in the fry box.  I added some stripes with the new set called Boxed Background Stripes and then a tag on the front, with the new set called Treat Box Tag Lines and the coordinating die.

I made a mini card to coordinate with this gift, using the adorable new hamburger set called King of the Grill.  It comes with several sentiments and all those fun condiments to stack up jus like you like it!



The "french fry" cookies wouldn't be the same without some "ketchup and mustard".....frosting!

The Snack Cup Holder dies, hold 2 cups and are such a fun addition.  This cup holder could be used for so many things, the possibilities are endless.  

I finished the cup holder off with a Keep it Simple tag die and a sentiment from the new set called Keep it Simple: Just for you.  

I love how all of these new products go so well together.  

I added everything to a red basket I found in the target dollar bin with a little tissue paper to finish it off.....

MFT Product Launch...

The latest release at My Favorite Things is here and ready to shop!  Do you have a long wish list this month?  So many cute things, right?

I have one more card to share using the new set called Fly By Friends.



I colored the flowers and the bee and then decided to create a fun little scene with the grass die and the fence.  So fun and easy!

MFT Release Countdown Day 2...

MFT Countdown Day 2!  Today I have the cleanest and simplest CAS card to share.  Today's sneak peak is of the Tree-mendous Die-namics.  LOVE these!



I did a little ink blending on a pice of card stock and then die cut the pieces of the trees.  I added a simple thank you and called it good!  Definitely an quick and simple card, easy for mailing!

MFT Release Countdown Day 3...

It's Day 3 of the MFT Countdown.  There are so many fun new things things month and I have one to share today.  I used the Stitched Strip die to make this card...



The die is normally used to make some fun stitched lines on your card base, but as I was masking and coloring the rainbow inside the stitched lines, I decided to rip it apart and adhere it down.  I added in the new "hello friend" sentiment dies on top for a super simple card!

Mandatory Meeting!!

This latest MFT Release has the most adorable set called Get Down to Business.  I love all the images...coming from on office supply nerd....so when I stamped them all out and got them colored....I had to use every single one of them.



I did a quick scored background and then added a sentiment and then using press n seal, glued all those pieces down at once.  I was so fortunate to spend the day with my craft friend, Lori Craig, yesterday and she did a little video of this technique.....but don't laugh at us whispering and laughing and also listening to John Michael Montgomery.  lol!

I actually pulled out the Copics for this.  It was kinda fun!  I'm thinking about pulling them out again soon!  :)
