Oh my!

It's called Thought Bubbles and Thought Bubble dies.  The possibilities with this set are endless.  I saw the sketch for this week's Retro Sketch and immediately thought of these fun little heart bubbles. I cut them out and attached them on to the card base, after scoring the lines at 2 1/2" and 3 3/4".  I stamped the sentiment in Provincial Gray Fresh Ink and then rounded the corners with my Corner Chomper.  I attached the card front to a Berry Sorbet card base.  To give it some sparkle, I added some Star Dust Stickles to the middle of each heart.

Little Tangles Challenge...

Hey there!  I am so excited to be guest designing over at the Little Tangles Challenge blog today!  They have a fun new, summery challenge picture, full of fun and color...

Here is my take on this week's challenge...

Danielle has these adorable digi's available this week.  Go and check out the Little Tangles blog to see more about them.  I printed out the flip flops and used Copics to add the color.  I attached a wooden heart from Studio Calico and, of course, some stickles for a little sparkle.  I printed out the sentiment and used a stitched circle die to frame the sentiment.  I added the focal point to the card base, which was scored every 1/2", using my Scor-Pal.

Pretty Pink Posh Blog Hop

I am THRILLED to be here today to help my friend, Paulina, share her newest Pretty Pink Posh addition....dies!  And super cute ones at that!  I have 2 cards to share today, using her newest dies.  Here is my first card, using the curved edge stitch die....



I used a stencil in the background with some transparent embossing paste.  Then I added in a butterfly with some more polkas to follow with the background design.  I cut the bottom of the gray panel off using the new die.  The sentiment I added in last and I just love how that curved panel really makes the sentiment stand out.  

For this next card, I used Paulina's new stitched square/tag die.  I wanted to make a quilted effect for the background of this baby card.  

I added in some fun elements and a sentiment and then finished the card off by adding in some tiny little sequins.  These adorable mini's are available at the Pretty Pink Posh store, as well.

happy birthday..

Hey friends!  I just got home from a fun week with my sister in Colorado and was excited to sit down and make something.  I have all these new Simon Says goodies that have been calling my name.



I used the Extra Large Dot Stencil on the background of this card.  I used some SSS Lipstick Red, Orange Peel and Sea Glass to blend in the dots.  For the sentiment, I used a new stamp from Friendship Messages (i love this set so much i can hardly stand it) and stamped it on to a Lil Inkers Stitched Rectangle.  I layered that onto a Circle Scribbles die I cut out of some black card stock for contrast.  

And that's it!  I have lots of fun posts coming up soon so I hope you will stay tuned!

Now we are on the way to the water park.  My sister from Oregon is here and we are excited to see her and the family!  (SO happy to see both of my sisters in one week!)  It's going to be hot here today, so we are pretty excited for our first trip of the season!

It's time for another round of Sketch for You to Try!  I love this sketch because I could see it working so well with Reverse Confetti's Tag me die.  One of my favorite tags ever, by the way!

Here is my card...



I cut out 2 tags and layered them, hiding the seam with the circle die cut.  I added the sentiment using Amuse Slate ink. To finish it off, I added some little white enamel dots.
