Viva la Verve...

I am super excited to be hosting my first Viva la Verve Sketch today over at SCS.  Here is today's CAS sketch...

I tried to take another photo of this card, but I sold it!  lol!  I should have taken it straight on so you could see the flowers in the background.  I used a white ink and they are so pretty.  I love that Surely Goodness set!

Sparkly hello...

So I just got home from church.  And I got the kids to bed and came right in here and whipped up this little card...



This is an under 10 minute card for sure.  I think I should turn it into the Craft Dash.  But I didn't officially time myself.  The line stamp is a from DeNami.  Then some glitter paper from Hobby Lobby cut with the new PTI hello die.  Fun?  I think so!  I love glitter!

Hope you are all having a great week!  We are plugging along here towards the end of school.  My kids only have a few weeks left and then summer vacation.  I seriously don't know where the year went!  My littles are growing up too fast!  Ok, I am off to watch Nashville!  Do you watch it?  I am sorta hooked!  Such a good show!

So happy...

When I saw Maile's set, Mini Blooms, I knew I had to have it!  I love the little flowers and that font.  I always look at the font first when I am buying a stamp.  This font...fabulous!  There is a card in this post where she stamped the sentiment in black with flowers around it, so I am channeling a little Maile on this card today....(I love her!) :)

First, I stamped the sentiment in Versafine ink.  Next I used Versamark and stamped the flowers and leaves around the sentiment.  I used my Pebbles shimmery chalk to color in each flower.  I layered the whole thing up on foam tape on the card base to finish it off.

I am excited to say that my Decorative Card Hanger dies have once again sold out!  When I think I have ordered enough....I haven't!  I have about 4 rectangle dies left, so if you are in the market for one, grab it up quick!  (The Paypal link is on my sidebar) I should have more of both in soon!  And in even more exciting news?  I have 2 new styles coming soon!  Yay!!

Also, I have had quite a response from my Electrician's birthday card!  I am going to figure out how to share the cut file on my blog here soon!  So if you requested the file, be looking out here for that!

I'm so Grateful!

I went WAY back to 2010 for today's Muse Card Club Challenge and found a card that has always been a favorite of mine. I mixed patterns and colors that weren't my usual.  I also did the reverse die cutting here using the frame and sentiment stamp.

Ugliest card ever Blog Hop

I LOVE this little blog hop that my friend Suzanne started.  It's so fun to see everyone's cards and see how our styles have changed over the years!  And of course, all in good fun on April Fools day!

 I knew exactly the card I was going to choose for this hop....even though I have plenty more where this one came from!  Maybe they aren't all ugly, but dated or once loved.  We had to love them at some point to post them right?  :)

Ok so I am sort of embarrassed to even re-post this card.  Mainly for these reasons: 

1.  The card says "Pig Poop" on the front.

2.  Pig poop again really.

This was the first card I posted on my blog back in 2007.  Yes that means that this year is my 6th Blogging Anniversary!  WHAT?  I can't believe I have been blogging that long.  

So without further ado...Pig Poop everybody!
