I like you.

Yes I am playing around with that new PTI alphabet again.  In fact, this card I made quite awhile back but just haven't posted it yet.



An all white card!  You know how I love white space.  I just ran the alpha dies through several times to get a bunch of letters to create a homemade impression plate.  (Remember my HI card?  I was working on this card when that HI card came about.  I had accidentally run 2 sheets of card stock through and was able to get that impression.)

To get the homemade impression plate, I stacked these die cut letters about 3 high and then ran it through my Big Shot with another piece of cardstock.  I did mist the card so the paper wouldn't rip.  Here is a quick pic of the letters I glued down....

This was kinda fun to make.  Lots of work stacking all those letters but I thought the end result was fun.   I think I would do it again.  As long as the sentiment was less than 3 words!  LOL!  Now I have TONS of extra letters all in a baggie so that is handy to have.  Easy to grab.  Since I may have mentioned I sorta like this alpha bet set.  Which I had planned on not saying....again!  :)

Retro Sketches...

Happy Saturday!  I am a little late with my card today!  Last night I was out till late.  Late for me is 10pm.  I'm feeling old because I didn't get home till 12:15 ish.  And I'm tired.  BUT so worth it.  We went to Jose Peppers and then to see Identity Theft.  Hilarious!!!  So on this very rainy morning, I am cleaning my craft room and relaxing.  I whipped up this card for Retro Sketches...



I got this gorgeous woodgrain paper from my sweet from JJ!  (Thanks again girl!)  I turned the paper over for the sentiment portion.  There is a tiny bit of texture, but this way the it actually matched the rest of the card.  I added in some wood chevron and a Hero Arts/Studio Calico sentiment.  There's also a little Envelope Pattern on kraft peaking out.  :)  Love that stamp!

Hello...

I am hooked on these new dies...

(Out for Publication!) :)

This new die set and matching alphabet stamp set are SO fun.  Not to mention the flower stamped behind them.  I used PTI's Fresh Snow for those flowers and a little Berry Sorbet for the letters.  CAS and so much fun on that kraft paper.  It looks like a lunch sack sorta kraft color, doesn't it?  It's from Hobby Lobby.  LOVE that stuff!

Hope all is well out there in blog land.  I sold out of all the dies again!  Yay!  I hope to have more soon and I *might* just be working on some new dies as well!  :)

Beautiful...

I'm excited to be here with another Muse card today.  I had so much fun with the last one and it was so amazing to see all of your gorgeous cards in the  Muse gallery.  I hope you get a chance to play this week too.

Here is my card...



I masked and stamped these gorgeous Verve flowers in white ink on the kraft base.  Then I added a Lil Inkers rectangle with a Verve Plain Jane sentiment.  I added in some polka dot ribbon and this Scalloped Trim border for a pop of color.

I love decorating the top of the card.  It makes for a fun focal point!  I hope you find a little inspiration from this card.  I can't wait to see what you create!  If you would like to learn more about the Muse Card Club, click HERE.

An oops.

Yep, that is how this card started.  So I was cutting a ton of letters with this new PTI die.  And instead of running one piece of cardstock through, it went through with 2.  (I wondered why it was so tight!) So the letters came out stuck to this and when I peeled them away?  This is what I got....



So I cut the embossed piece down to square and then added to popped up red letters and a gray card base.  It was an fun oops for sure!  Have a mentioned I love this die set?  (Or maybe I've just been gabbing about it on Facebook.) It's pretty fab!
