Lawnscaping October Guest Designer

**This is my second post for the day! Scroll down to see my DeNami Color Challenge post!**

I am so excited to be jumping into October with my first post as Guest Designer over at Lawnscaping!  I am a big fan of Lawn Fawn stamps and so I am pretty excited to create along with the DT challenges!

First up...layers and dimension!  Here is my card...

I have lots of dimension going here, starting with the first layer of Aqua Mist card with foam tape.  Then I attached the clouds with some more foam tape.  And then I used a pop dot for the pinwheel, so it would be just a little higher than the clouds!  How is that for dimension?  I used 2 Lawn Fawn sets here.  The clouds are from Bon Voyage.  The pinwheel and sentiment are from Cruising Through Life.

Here is a closer picture of the layers.  I used some black Twinery twine for the pinwheel stick and a little red pearl for the center.

DeNami Color Challenge

Welcome to another fabulous DeNami Color challenge!  I have to be honest and say this color challenge was totally a challenge!  And I will be even MORE honest and say.....I got one of the colors WRONG!  hehe!  So when it came time to work on this card, I opened the swatch on my phone...which usually shows colors ok...but I thought the yellow was orange!  Last night I get on the computer and see the "right" colors in the swatch and on all the DT cards and oops!  So my card looks like the odd duck out of the mix...with the wrong color!  BUT I am posting it anyway to share with you these adorable DeNami stamps!

Here is my card...

This pumpkin stamp is really fun!  I think this is one of the first DeNami stamps I received and I just love it so much!  And if you have visited before, you know how much I love the  "Thankful for you"!  That font is so adorable!  

And here are the CORRECT colors.... :)

Am I in the right place?

I bet after you see this card you will wonder if you are lost....

Yes you are here!  Soapbox Creations!  The mostly CAS blog.  What is this you ask?  I am sorta thinking some vintage fell on my craft table and this is what happened!  Along with lots of distressing!  I know, right?  I am shocked too!  

I stamped PTI's Text Style in Jumbo Java Versamagic and then distressed like crazy with these bad boys...

(I hope it was ok to borrow Tim's picture! You can check these inks out HERE!  They are limited edition...and I think that is why Amy talked me into buying them!)  ;)

So obviously I didn't use the orange (yet) but the brown and violet color are FANTASTIC!!  I even made my own ribbon using the Seedless Preserves!  I added a little edger die and a little lace.  Then I stamped the sentiment from PTI's Signature Series: Dress Form, on a My Minds Eye card and attached it with some foam tape!  Then the bow, some rose buds and pearls to finish it off!  

I told a few of you today that I lost my mojo today!  Well, I must have found a little and was just so happy to actually complete ONE card today!

Here is a quick card inspired by this photo!  I pulled color and the fall theme and made it into this...

These stamps JUST came in the mail to me today!  That is how excited I was to get them inked up!  The first layer is the Large Solid  Leaves.  I added color to the different leaves and then stamped over it in brown with THIS stamp.  I made this patterned paper pretty quick because the stamp includes both leaves.  Then with my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig (that is so hard to type!) I layered the outlines.  SUPER easy!  

OK so I am hoping to get out and check out all the WCMD creations!  I know there are lots of busy crafty people out there today! Thanks so much for coming by!
