Clean and Simple Sketch #106

My friend Jen really turned me on to using sketches recently! She has a FAB binder that she organized and has a section for sketches! So I thought I should give them a try too!

One sketch site that she has used several times is Clean and Simple Stamping! They have great sketches so I am giving my first one a try today! Here is their sketch....

I went to Wichita the other day with my SIL and found this adorable stamp at Michael's in the dollar bin!  LOVE the dollar bin!  I just couldn't pass it up!



Then when I got home and got the mail, I got the new MFT Framed Greetings stamp set and die that my friend Amy picked up for me at her LSS!  So stinkin' excited about that for sure!  I just love this frame stamp!  And the "hello." fit perfectly!


And I KNOW I am using the same color combo AGAIN, but I am really liking this whole Aqua Mist thing after all!  So I hope I am not boring you with it!



Love that little window that the die made!  So fun!

Paper Dolls Challenge #20

OK so, I am back with another Green, Red and Black combo!  I know!!  I am hooked!  I guess it is just the whole back to school thing really!  So I decided this would be a fun Paper Dolls challenge this week!  Just to do something with a "school" theme!

I have also seen, lately, some of the cutest glossy accented apples!  So I had to try one too!  :) (I wish I could remember where I'd seen them so I could link them for you!) 

So here is another "back to school-ish" kinda card...



I realize I didn't take the best pic of the apple, but I stamped it with PTI's Teacher Apple in Pure Poppy, added some scrappers floss for the stem and attached the leaf.  Then I stamped the Thank You from It's Official.  I cover the whole thing with Glossy Accents!  IRL it looks so fun!  :)  OH, I added a little highlight with my white gel pen too!



That background stamp is from Hero Arts!  It gives the perfect "thank you" background!  Hope you like it!  Thanks for looking!

I told you I found so many awesome verses from Verve!  I had to stop in and share another one!  I love this frame that I got in my last order and the verse fits perfect!


Aqua Mist is not a color I reach for very often but after this card I think I will try to more!  Such a pretty color!

Curtain Call Color Challenge: {Act 45}

EDIT: Super excited today!  My card was picked as a Top 5 Curtain Call Show Stopper!  :)

This is my very first Curtain Call Challenge! I was so excited when one of  my  blog friends, Christina, made the design team over there and so I decided to play along just because of her!  Here is this weeks challenge...

And here is my card!  Not my usual style but I had to change things up a little today!  :) (and I know the Plum Pudding isn't very close to Concord Crush but its all I have!)

    

I added some glitter around the frame with my Stardust Clear Gel pen!  You can kinda see the sparkle!


This is another fun new stamp from Verve!  I just love that flower!
