The latest release from The Greetery has some amazing dies and stencils. The Leaves All Around Stencil and Die Set is one of my faves! I love the possibilities of the frame, or cutting it in half and using just one side....or in today's case...making a butterfly!
First, I die cut the Leaves All Around frame and then added it to a sticky mat. By doing this, it makes the stencils stick down and easy to blend in the color. I added in a layer of Altenew Lime, Altenew Volcano Lake and then some Altenew Sunray for the little berries. I decided to cut the frame apart and when I laid it down, I knew it could be a really cool Butterly. I grabbed the Crimped Frames die to create a white card front and added it to a green card base. I love this sentiment from Love Song Sentiments, so I added it to the bottom of the card front in black ink. After adding in lots of foam tape squares, I taped the butterfly down to the card front.
The Jumbo Curiosity Moth Dies worked perfect for the large butterfly body so I went in and did a little ink blending with Altenew Lagoon ink on the antenna's and body. To finish off the card, I added some random dew drops...because I am addicted to them and its ok to put them all over the place. :)
