Congrats Grads! {Taylored Expressions}...

Hi crafty friends!  Taylored Expressions has an awesome release today, just in time for graduation season! I have 2 projects....one for graduation and one for a "Way to Go" with a school theme.

First up, this quick and easy card using several new products.

(all supplies linked in my supply list at the end of the post)

Grad Cap Layered Stencil

Cap it Off Numbers

Mini Strips - Grad

The Tassel (previously released)

...oh and don't forget a Rectangle Masking Stencil!

Taylored Expressions

To create this card, I did some ink blending with the new Grad Cap Layering Stencil.  I just picked a few and taped off the rest.  Next, I used my Rectangle Masking Stencil to create the perfect frame around the card front.  I used the Cap it Off Numbers to add in the year and then heat embossed the Mini Strips-Grad Congratulations for the bottom of the card.  Using The Tassel, I stamped and die the cap and added it to the card with foam tape.  To finish the card, I used one of the new black pearls to the center of the cap.

Taylored Expressions

This next card uses a past favorite stamp, Create In Color.  There is a new Create In Color Edger Die released today that cuts out the pencils just perfectly!  I am also using On the Block - Hooray and Full Circle - School.

Taylored Expressions

To create this card, I stamped the Full Circle image in black ink on a white card base.  I colored up a few of the pencil from the Create In Color stamp and die cut them out.  I added them to the card with adhesive.  Next, I stamped and die cut the On the Block - Hooray and popped it up on fun foam.  To finish off the card, I heat embossed the sentiments from Building Blocks - Well Done and added in the "Way to Go" with an adhesive strip.

Taylored Expressions

The Greetery Spring Market Collection Day 2...

Good morning and welcome to day 2 of The Greetery's Spring Market Release and 2 Year Anniversary Celebration!  Before I get started with today's projects, I want to let you know that I will be over at The Greetery's instagram today doing a live and sharing and sharing all of new stamps and dies that will be available on Wednesday, April 28th at 10am EDT!  Come by and say hi!

Keep scrolling to see all of today's projects, the day 2 giveaway and learn more about the Greetery Gold point system.

Let's get started!

If you are a fan of the BotaniCuts Dies, then you will be so excited to learn about the latest bloom...the Tulip Die!

The Greetery

To create this card, I did a little bit of ink blending on a white card base...just enough to keep it subtle but still add some color.  You know I love a clean and simple card!  I used the Crimped Circle Dies to add a layer of white to the card base.  I love those dies.  A must have for sure!  Next, I die cut the BontaniCuts Tulip Dies in pink cardstock and then added in some darker shades of ink, along with a few R24 Copic flicks, to give the petals some depth.  I glued them all together and added in the stems and leaves.  I love the embossed lines on the petals and leaves.  So many great, realistic details.  Last, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Pretext Sentiment Stamp Set and then die cut it out with the coordinating Pretext Banner Dies.  I used the new Let's Have a Word: Birthday Die in white right below to finish it off!

The Greetery

This card uses the new set called Holding Hands.  I kept it super simple as usual by die cutting a circle into the top panel and adding in the hand die cut, with a sheer sleeve die cut from Vellum.  I heat embossed the wrinkle detail in the sleeve and then stamped the sentiment and added in the little bouquet of flowers.  Super simple!

The Greetery

Yesterday, I showed you a bouquet of flowers and today I am using it again!  You guys.  I LOVE this stamp set!  This little bouquet is so so so easy to put together.  I did all the blooms in yellow but you can definitely add in extra colors for each bloom.  I did a full score line along the side and top of the card front  and then added it to a card base where I had already stamped the same bouquet.  Hard to see in the photo but you can see the bottom stems are on the card base too.  Last, I used the new Bold Alpha to add in a simple, gray "smile".  Love love this die set!!

The Greetery Spring Market Collection Day 1...

Happy Monday!  And happy almost release day at The Greetery!  I am so excited to be here today to share 3 projects using some new goodies from the Spring Market Collection! Keep scrolling for the product detail including all the ink colors I used.  There is also info on the giveaways for this fabulous birthday celebration.  Thanks right!  The Greetery is 2 years old already!  Time flies when you are having fun!

The Greetery

To create this card, I masked off the background of a white A2 card base.  I blended in a little Volcano Lake Ink along the bottom of the mask just enough to create a shadow.  Next, I stamped and die cut the watering can from Sprinkled With Kindness.  I cut off the bottom of the can to line up with the masked area on the card base and then popped it up on foam tape.  I stamped the blooms from the new set Always in Bloom and added those to the can.  I used sentiments from the new set, stamping "It's your time" in black ink and then using the same inks to stamp the layered sentiment "Bloom".  I added the die cut sentiment to the card front with the coordinating fun foam die cut.  To finish the card, I added in some clear drops.

To create this card, I used the new Delightful Digits Die, die cut in white cardstock and then adhered to a white card base.  Next, I stamped the new Flower Market Bouquet (to be introduced tomorrow) in bright colors.  I die cut the bouquet and another layer in fun foam to give the flowers some dimension on the card.  Next, I used Let's Have a Word Happy in black cardstock along with the Bold Numbers Die in gold cardstock.  I love the detail in the new alphabet and number dies!

One last card today using the new background called Fond of Foliage (to be introduced tomorrow) in gray ink.  I used the Crimped Frames to cut out that layer and added it to a white card base with a rectangle of fun foam.  Next, I used the new Bold Alpha dies to spell out hello and added those to the card front with some adhesive strips.  Before adding the L and the O, I stamped a tiny little flower detail from Alphabuds Bold Floral Details set.  This set is so fun with lots of little blooms to add awesome details to your cards!

Taylored Expressions Blender Brush and Stencil Release...

Good morning!  I am here with some fun news from Taylored Expressions!  They are releasing new stencils along with Bitty Blender Brushes and Black and White Blender Brushes!  First, I am going to share a new stencil called Rainbow Repeat....

Taylored Expressions

To create this card, I used the bitty blenders to add color to the rainbow.  I cut it apart and added it to a white cardstock panel and then added it to a white card base.  I added in another strip of white to complete the 3D card front.  Last, I heat embossed the sentiment from Handlettered Sentiments and popped it up on a fun foam die cut.  I added a few little gems for some sparkle.

This next card uses another new stencil called Striped Squares.  Instead of blending with it, I used it as an embossing tool.  Check out this amazing embossed background....

Taylored Expressions

I popped up the black and white Spring Spray and then finished it off with a black fun foam hello and some sparkle!

Check out the new blender brushes.....

The I Want it ALL Bundle retails for $75 and includes the following:

  • Bitty Blender Brushes (set of 6)
