Today is the last day of the MFT Countdown. Release day is tomorrow! I have a super cool new background stamp to share with you called Crosshatch Polka Dot.
First off, this card is huge! I am pretty sure I have never made a card this big. I generally stick to A2 size cards but I once I stamped out this rainbow of polka's, there was no way I could cut it up. LOL! SO, I made a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 card. To get this look, I put the background stamp in my Misti and inked up each row with the rainbow of colors. I was able to add second layers of ink to make the colors really shine. I tried the edges just to the sides of the polka dots and then matted t on a soft yellow card base.
Last, I used the new die called Huge Hugs and cut it out of white cardstock and then again in fun foam. I layered those together and then popped them up on the front for a fun and huge sentiment.
Stop by the MFT Blog and check out all the details of this latest MFT Release. Remember tomorrow is the day!
Thanks so much for hanging out with me this week. See you back here tomorrow with one last MFT December post with some friends!
