Altenew November 2019 Gradient Cardstock Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Good morning friends!  Today I am hopping along with some amazing designers, showcasing the latest release from Altenew.

Altenew's gradient cardstock shades have been hand-selected to coordinate with our inks, making them the perfect choice for layered die cutting, 3D dies, and more! The color families include Cherry Blossom, Green Meadows, Red Cosmos, Sea Shore, Shades of Purple, and Summer Afternoon, and each sheet has been sized to fit on our Mini Blossom Die Cutting Plates. You're sure to find one (or more!) to add to your collection!

I have to put in a quick plug for the Mini Blossom Die Cut Machine.  Its 20% until tomorrow!  This very handy little machine fits perfectly in my work space and along with these new paper packs, makes die cut a breeze!

Today I am working with Fantasy Floral 3D Die along with the Red Cosmos and Green Meadows Gradient Paper Packs.....

Altenew

To create this card,  I first grabbed the Sunburst Stencil and embossed a piece of the red cardstock.  I layered it with fun foam and a second mat of the same color and added white paint splatter to the embossed piece.

Next, I added the card panel to the card base.  Using the Mini Blossom and more colors of the Red Cosmos pack, I die cut the pieces for the Floral Fantasy 3D Dies.  I love how easy they are to line up and create a dimensional bloom.  After cutting out the leaves with Green Meadows cardstock, I added in some detail using alcohol markers.  Last, I stamped the sentiment in Obsidian Black ink along the bottom of the card.
