Did you see yesterday's release of Blender Brushes from Taylored Expressions? They are amazing!! While they are currently sold out, more are on their way so stay tuned!
I wanted to share another project today using embossing folders and blending brushes. One of Taylor's embossing folders is called Subway Tiles. Its one of my favorites! I didn't want a solid gray background and I wanted the "grout" to stay white so I was pretty happy to see the result of using the blender brush directly on the embossing folder....
The background came out with more of a wash look than a solid inked look. I was happy with that! Taylored's Earl Gray ink worked perfectly!
I used a monster and sentiment from the set called Little Monsters. The perfect clean and simple birthday card for a little one!
Stop by Taylored Expressions and put your email address in on the blender brush page. They will notify you when the brushes are back in stock.
Thanks so much for coming by today! Have a great day!

ReplyDeleteThis is such a cool card! I love how you added ink to the Subway Tiles embossing folder, and that monster is adorable. :)
