Hey there crafty friends! I am so excited for today's hope because.....new washi. Yay! The new washi available now over at Altenew
is AMAZING!! Gorgeous colors and beautiful details and guess what?! You can use it to make the most quick and simple cards!
**Scroll down to see the video I created for the last Washi Blog hop on how to apply these large rolls of washi to a card front. **

CARDS
Check out this amazing new washi....
To create this first card, I applied the Misty Meadows Washi tape to a full card front. Next, I cut the card front down into 3 panels and raised them up on fun foam to add some dimension. Next, I grabbed the Fine Alphabet dies to create the sentiment. I found a pice of hunter green fun foam in my stash and added that behind the white card stock letters. The little bit of dark green behind the sentiment definitely helps the sentiment to pop!
I used 2 washi's on this next card. Gold String Washi and Teal Shadow Washi.....
I angled each piece and lined them up to create an angle on a full card from. The gold lines in the new washi are amazing! Next I used some gold cardstock to cut out the hello die to finish off the card.
This next photo looks like a black and white photo, but this roll of washi is gorgeous!
This one is called Botanical Rhapsody. It has a tiny bit of gray in the floral shadows and so I kept this card super simple with a light gray cardstock hello.
Here is a video I created for the last Altenew Washi release that shows a super quick and easy way to apply the large washi to a card front.
