Welcome to the Altenew February Blog Hop! We have lots to share today. So many gorgeous new stamps, stencils and dies! I have 3 projects to share today and if you keep reading, you will find the details of today's hop with the full hop list below and you will see how to enter for a prize.
The new set called Dotted Blooms is a fast favorite. I just love this simple floral stem and all the card making possibilities it holds....
To create this card, I stamped the stem in black in and then I stamped the additional stamps in Gold Delicata ink. I wanted to keep the card clean and simple and though gold would be a fun touch. Next, I used the Thinking of You die and die cut right from the stamped panel.
I layered fun foam and the sentiment die to pop up the image on the card front. I love all the white space that makes the bloom pop!
The new masking stencils from Altenew are genius! They are a thinner material than the regular stencils and make masking so easy! I used the masking stencil to layer the blooms from Frilled Petals.
I added in color with the layered images included in the set. I just love how easy it was to stamp. I added a sentiment and then cut the panel to pop up on a card base. To finish this card, I added a tiny bit of black and white striped washi and some black pearls.
There is a new set called Trendy Circles and it is SO much fun! The possibilities with this one are endless!
I used Halftone Squares Stamp set to add a border along the bottom. Then I stamped the circles around the front of the card. I added in a sentiment and then a few little black enamel dots to finish the card.

ReplyDeleteI love how you take your cards just a step further to make them extra special - popping up the partially stamped sentiment, splitting the card & adding a partial pattern in between, & finally, using even more circles in your edge on the last card.
