Altenew Build-A-Flower: Hyacinth Release Blog Hop...

There is a gorgeous new Build-A-Flower today over at Altenew.  The Hyacinth!

I am joining in this hop today with the girls at Altenew.  You can check out the full blog hop list below.  This new build-a-flower is so easy to line up and stamp.  And it makes for an easy clean and simple card.  I have 2 of those to share with you today!

Here is my first card...

Altenew Hyacinth

To create this card, I stamped the stem in 2 shades of green and then the flower in 3 shades of purple.  The yellow centers stamped to perfectly in yellow.  I kept this a one layer card by stamping the sentiment from More Than Words set along the bottom.  I added the card front to a card base.  I lined the edge of the card base with black and white striped washi to give it a little extra detail.

Altenew Hyacinth

Here is the layering guide for the stamp set.  I love how easy it is to line up!

To create this next card, I used the third step stamp of the hyacinth to make a soft background.

Altenew Hyacinth

I covered the card panel with the details hyacinth image using a light gray ink.  I went in and blended a little more of the ink around the edge of the panel.  Next. I die cut the thank you in coral and added it to the card front.  I attached a few dew drops on the card front too, for a little extra detail.
