Altenew August 2018 Release Hop + Giveaway

I am so happy to be hopping along with the girls at Altenew for the August Release Hop. There are SO many amazing new stamps and dies and I had a ball playing with each set. I have 4 clean and simple projects to share wit you today. Check out my projects and scroll down to see how you can win some prizes.

CARDS

This first project uses Altenew's banner dies and showcase their new number dies.....

To create this Sweet 16 banner, I die cut 3 pocket banners in white card stock. I used the Ditsy Print Stamp set and added a little patch of blooms to each banner. Next, I grabbed the Tall Alpha Stamp set and stamped the word Sweet on the first banner. Next, I added a 1 and a 6 to the last 2 panels in a light gray card stock. I cut the holes across the top of each and then added some black twine to hold the banner together. These numbers are going to come in very handy!

To create this next card, I used the new stamps called Halftone Squares and the new Mega Happy die. Halftone Squares has a long stamp in it that let me create a fun rainbow background...

I popped the background panel up on fun foam and then went in and added the happy die. I stacked about 5 dies up to create some dimension. Next, I heat embossed the word Mail, from the Mega Greetings 2 set, on the black banner and tucked in down behind the happy die. I added to little black enamel dots on the other side of the happy just for another little bit of contrast.

This clean and simple card set was made using the new Block Print Stamp Set and the Halftone Squares Die set....

I stamped each Block Print with a different color and then die cut them with one of the Halftone Square dies. I added them to the card front in a square pattern with foam tape.

I chose a fun sentiment and stamped that in black ink.

To give the card a little dimension, I curled up 2 sides of each square....

These were quick and easy to make!

This last card showcases another Block Print image and a bloom from the new set called Floral Art...

I used a sponge and did a little ombre inking on the Block Print for the background. I added some black Copic Splatter on the card front as well. Next, I stamped the sentient and then added a simple floral image die cut and then popped up on foam tape. I added the card front to an yellow card base for some added color.
