Introducing Petite Places...

Are you ready for something super cute?  Betsy has another little addition to the Petite Places line.  A church!  I have 2 projects to share today using the new dies.

This first one is a mason jar project that would be great for any occasion.

I cut the church out of white card stock and kept it white.  I used the new tree dies to pop up a couple of trees, as well.

I sprinkled some of the green filler and then added in some flower sequins.  I tied a Sweet Blush bow and then added in a little banner take with the sentiment.  And of course, I filled that jar with chocolate!  :)

Next, I used the dies for a focal point on a CAS card.

I die cut the 5 pieces...a white scalloped base, a Spring Rain cloud layer and 2 tree layers out of Simply Chartreuse.  Last, I added in the little white church with some Lemon Tart peaking through the windows.  I used one of the banners from the Double Ended Banner dies and made a little pop up sentiment.  The sentiment is also from Petite Places: Church.  I used a light gray ink for this and couldn't get the best photograph, but in person the light color looks great.

I know the rest of the DT have some amazing things to share.  Stop by their blogs and say hi!  Thanks for stopping in!

  20. Laurie, these BOTH are my FAVORITE of the release ... you totally knocked it out of the park with your mason jar project and the dreamy card. Love, love, love!!! The snow globes were cute, but I wasn't sure I'd use them. Your idea to put them on top of a mason jar totally sold me!! Brilliant. And your card with the solid soft colors + white ... so classy!!!!
