Hey there! Welcome to the PTI Group Post for the October release. I am excited to share today's cards with you! The new set from Papertrey Ink is called Songbirds is so pretty and the dies that go with it? Amazing!
Here is my first card...
The set comes with several different sentiments for different occasions. For this card, I used the Christmas music and the coordinating die. I added in the stitched leaves in the backgournd and then layered up the songbird, the back layer in yellow and then paper piecing the green leaves on both birds. I added in an aqua enamel dot for some more color.
You can see in the above photo, I attached the musical banner by adhering the ends so there would be a little division on the card. The tag is made by laying the music in the background and then adding some more leaves and popping up the bird on foam tape.
This last card is super CAS and showcases the bird stamps in the set....
Each color you see is an additional stamp to fill in with the different colors. I LOVE that! These birds are so easy to stamp and decorate! I filled in the eyes with some black liquid enamel dots. I attached them to the card with foam tape, after stamping the music line in black at the base of the card. I love this "count your blessings" stamp. The music just flows and works so well as a sentiment.
The other girls have more Songbirds to share! Click on the links below to check them out...
