Verve Spotlight Hop Day 4

Welcome to the last day of our February 2013 Spotlight Hops!  Everything you see previewed along today's hop will be available inVerve's online store today! 

I have a couple more cards to share with you today.  This first one uses a sentiment from Shining Star and the Starry dies.

I simply cut the dies out of the card front and then took those die cut stars, and colored them with Copics.  This way I didn't have to run them all through with different card stock colors.  Fun huh?

This next card uses a new Plain Jane, You Make Me Smile.  I masked off the "you" and used Verve's I heart u die instead.  I added some a little chevron pattern from the Borderlines set.  Then to finish it off, I added in some black pearls and a resin rose bud.

I also have one more card for the Viva La Verve Sketch Challenge...



 I love this CAS sketch by Janelle!  In this card, I used one of the new Scalloped Trim Trio Borders and the largest banner from the new Banner Bundle.

    LOVE these Laurie! That first one though, is my fav! I adore the rainbow of colors behind those diecuts!

    Brilliant cards Laurie! Love the massive 'U' die cut on the second, but really impressed with the idea to colour the die cut stars with the first to avoid using coloured cardstock! Very clever!!

    Your cards are great! They are all so clean and striking with the simplicity of your design elements. It's hard to say which is my favorite, but the U Make me Smile one reminds me of my youngest so that' the one.

    Wonderful! All three are so clean and awesome! The bright colors of the stars really had me on your first card, but I like the fun way you used the letter U and the bright flower on the "smile" card and the softness of the "twinkle" card is perfect to celebrate a new blessing!
