AE Love...

I saw that Avery Elle has a new challenge blog and I had some time today, along with some new sets in the mail, so I thought I would whip up a quick card!  The challenge was to create something that sums up your personal style.  Well, I am usually a more CAS stamper, and I love red.  I also love white on white.  So that all combined and I got this...

I stamped a sentiment from Framed Fonts and made a little background paper.  Then I cut a couple of hearts out.  I used Lovely Letters to add a little sentiment and then finished it off with a little black pearl.  

I am loving the stamps from this company and their customer service is amazing!  I can't wait to see what they come up with next!  :)

So this is the first time I have done one of these year end posts.  And I have to say...it was fun to go back and look at the year in Flickr.  :)  I picked one card per month and that was hard.  So 2 months have 2 cards.  Here are my favorites...

Happy Birthday!!

It's a very special day today.  Today is actually Friday....even though this will not post till Saturday!  Special you ask?  Well, it's our fearless leader's birthday today!  That would be the sweet Arielle!  So Kasia, Brandi and I are hijacking this week's Retro Sketch post to wish her a happy happy birthday!  Here is my card for you, Arielle...

I shrunk the sketch again!  :)  And I used a some more of those amazing goodies from i {heart} papers. That gorgeous navy paper is from the Basic Grey Lucille paper pack.  The sentiment is from the Paper Smooches set called Sentiment Sampler.

PTI Blog Hop...

I am so happy to be joining in today for the PTI Blog Hop.  I haven't been in this room to make a card in over a week!  I saw this challenge in my reader and thought it was right up my alley!  

Here is my card for today's challenge...

I scored diagonal lines on the card front and then cut out the center to make a frame.  I attached the frame to the card base with foam tape, and then stamped the sentiment in gray and since we could ad a small pop of color, I added a little popped up heart die.  I love this new set from PTI.  I am so excited to finally have a "love" set that I can see myself using a lot!  

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday!  I am so sad that it is over all ready!  My sisters have gone home and now the clean up has started!  More laundry is calling my name... :)

I stamped the tree  and all of the sentiments from Calm and Gentle.  It's amazing what changing up some colors can do!

Cutie Pie Recipe Cards...

Today I am here with a very fun post!  I am participating in the i [heart} paper Design Team Challenge!    This challenge is all about food!  I was super excited when I learned this, because I found the most adorable recipe cards and had to turn them into a fun little gift.

I used Paper Smooches set, called Bee Mine, to add these adorable little pies to the cards.  The circle punch behind them, is stamped with an image from WPlus9's set, Folk Art Flurries.  This is just a super simple little gift set and so easy to mass produce!

CSS Make it Sparkle Challenge

Today I am here with a new project for Clear and Simple.  Our challenge was to make something with a little sparkle.  I created a gift bag/tag set, using CSS's new wrapping paper and my Cameo and the new Limited Edition Joy set.  Check it out...

For the tags, I used 1/2" scor-tape and then sprinkled on the glitter.  Here is a close up of the bag....

Design It Monday {Merry Christmas}

Stopping in for my last guest over at Precious Remembrance!  I've had so much fun using this Christmas Stamp set!  I have a fun card for you to see today!

I stamped the red strips diagonally, for a mat to the kraft wood grain embossed piece.  I added some MS snowflakes and then finished it off with the sentiment!  It's such an easy card to make!  I think I will be making more of these!

Joy and a sketch and a sale...

I am here today with a fun card using some more fabulous stamps from i {heart} papers!  First off....the card....



The background is made from WPlus9 Folk Art Flurries and that sentiment is from Pretty Patches.  I love LOVE these stamps!  Great images and just so much fun to work with.  I added in a little wreath using some leaf ribbon I had, and then wrapped that with twine and red bakers twine too.  I topped it off with a little red sheer bow.  I cut a banner and stamped the sentiment in red.

Something special to share - and a giveaway

Hey there!  So glad you could join me today!  Paper Smooches will release their newest Kismet stamp set called Bee Mine at midnight tonight Eastern time and I am here today to help promote this sweet set! You will find the new stamp set HERE. 

I stamped this adorable little bee and cut him out, coloring him with Copics and then adding a little Stickles to the wings.  I layered him on a big bee hive and stamped the sentiment and a fun little heart from the set.  These stamps are fabulous and make such a great image!
