Embellish Square Card Color Challenge

(Scroll down to see my DeNami Sketch Challenge card!)

I knew when I saw these springy colors, I had to play!  And the fact that it requires a square card!  I just never make square cards and I have decided...I need to more often! They are so fun!

So here is my square card...

So here is the thing about these polka dots you see!  I started stamping them on another piece of paper and was having a hard time getting them to be nice and solid.  Then I realized I was not pushing down evenly but it made sort of a gradient look!  So I started on another piece and did this intentionally to get this look!  I think its kinda fun!  With each stamp, I just pushed down more on the top of the block for a darker ink on top and lighter at the bottom!  Kind of a fun pattern! Hopefully it doesn't look like bad stamping! LOL! I wanted it to turn out this way!

I had to top it off with some cute little rose buds!  I am so sad to find out that Michaels is clearancing these!  They are taking away all my favorite things!  What am I going to do?

Here are this weeks colors...

Thanks for coming by today!  It is a really nice day here in Kansas...finally!  Hope your Monday is super!
