During the craziness of the PTI Anniversary, we had these super fun challenges we could all participate in! Instead of bombarding you with posts, I put several cards on Flickr and linked them to the challenges from there! So today I am sharing a card that some of you may have already seen but again, I am dealing with a good case of stampers block! I am all stamped out for some reason! I don't even want to sit down and even try to make something! GASP! I know right? What's up?
So here is my card from last week!
This is Lisa Johnson's color combo! I thought it would make the perfect "boy" card! And I just love this set and don't use it enough!
Thanks to all who tweeted some mojo my way the other day! Tweet me some more! :) And again, I have been a terrible blog friend! My reader is once again at an overflowing level! I can't wait to sit down and have a chance to see what you all have been creating!
Have a great Wednesday!
This is so fabulous! I love the sweetness of this card.
ReplyDeleteTake a day off..do something that you love and your mojo will find you..instead of you having to search for it.
So sweet! And can I just be really selfish and say thank goodness it happens to you too! Makes me feel soooo much better!! I have no doubt you'll be inspired again soon. :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous colour combo and fab set... love what you have done with them, as always!! Robin
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Laurie! Perfect little details like the twine and your sky shading on the embossed panel is perfect. Thanks for the inspiration
ReplyDeletesometimes we just need a break...i know that feeling...anyway..love this card....i'll have to pull out this set again:)
ReplyDeleteTime to take a few days off...we all need to stop every once in a while so that we keep it fun and relaxing! Great card...love those colors together...yummy!
ReplyDeleteGreat card Laurie! This reminds me that I need to ink this set up again. I'm sure your stampers block is only momentary. Your talent is amazing!
ReplyDeleteThis is boy perfection! I looove that sailboat! I sure hope it comes back to you! I just feel at a loss when I don't have any creative juice!
ReplyDeletethis is absolutely darling!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is hands down an absolute adorable card for a little one.
ReplyDeleteToo cute!
Adorable card, Laurie! This is a great use of Lisa's colors, and I haven't used this set for a while either so I should pull it out. I hope your mojo gets all rested up (I don't think it ever goes away, it just needs a vacation sometimes!). I had the same thing happen a couple of weeks ago, thankfully before the PTI anniversary challenges!
ReplyDeleteCurt loves this card ..... he is sailboat boy!!! And very clean looking ...... so pretty!! You could always fly here you might not have stamp mojo but we could have a nice dinner and good laugh!!1
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet card, Laurie! So cute!
ReplyDeleteWalk away from the ink, girlie! It's the best thing to do when hit with stampers block! Invest some quality time with chocolate and Blogland and you'll be stamping in now time ;D
ReplyDeleteIn fact, I'd use this fabulous card as inspiration to get the mojo ticking - love it!

Such a super sweet boy card! Great color combo and your attention to detail is fabulous!!!
ReplyDeleteSo cute Laurie! I love the pattern you stamped on the blue CS, it almost looks like waves! Very cool!
ReplyDeleteI really like this color combo...I like how you have several little details that really make the card but it is still very clean and simple. The twine/jute and little anchor stamped on the bottom are my two favorite little touches.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute! I've needed inspiration for this set...
ReplyDeleteI understand stamper's block... I've been struggling to get myself in the craft room and when I do it's because I have obligations that I've pushed off for too long!
Now you've gone and made me want this set! It is a perfect boy card Laurie and I love the addition of the twine and the rope stamping!
ReplyDeleteI am pretty sure I commented on this on Flicker but it is worth repeating, lol!! Totally cute card! LOVE the way you used the colors and the way you kept this so masucline! The background for the boat is awesome and I love the twine!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great manly card!
ReplyDeleteGreat card. Love the colors. Perfect for a man, or lady if she's into sailing!
ReplyDeleteWow. Wow. Wow. Love the subtile inking behind that kick buttowski boat. What a perfect card.
ReplyDeleteLove! That twine was the perfect touch. Totally fits the mood of the card. (On a side note, maybe your mojo walked away with mine? Mine seems to be missing, too. Aaaah! Not making anything I like lately, so I sympathize.)
ReplyDeleteStunning use of the colors Laurie! You're so right - perfect boys card!
ReplyDeleteI think it's about time for me to bust out this set again! What a gorgeous card...is it okay to say that a masculine card is 'gorgeous?' ;)
