Baby, Baby!

Going through my card stash, I realize that the cards I make the least of are baby cards! Why? I have no idea but I just never think of them! SO when I got my PTI happy mail and pulled out the new little background set...(name escaping me right now)...I had to make a quilt, which turned into a quilted elephant...which turned into 2 baby cards! Here they are...

I so love this background set! And the little zig zags are from the new button set! Tooo many fun things this time from the February PTI release!

And then I had to make a coordinating card with the little quilted elephant and matching doily!  I don't know if you can see it, but his ear is popped up!  I glued the top party down and then put foam tape under the bottom of his ear for dimension!  The only thing I forgot to do this time, was go around the edges of the elephant with a brown marker!  I always do this for a more finished look...didn't even know I forgot till I got the pictures uploaded!  :(

I bet after playing with my new stuff I am going to have a stack of baby cards here pretty quick!

  25. Don't know why I never became a follower of yours before, but I just spent the best hour going back through months of your posts. You really do make the most beautiful, creative, yet CAS cards. I honestly saved at least ten of them that I want to re-create. You are so talented. I can't wait to see what you come up with next.
