With Deepest Sympathy...

*Scroll down for the winner of my Snowman Blog Hop giveaway....*

Sympathy cards are the ones I hate to make! I wish we didn't have sad times in life, but it seems like we have had so many lately! So I have made several! Here is one I wanted to share with you....

My friend Amy was just saying how she is hooked on embossing folders! Ummmm...I guess I better admit to that too! I am sure if you follow my blog you might have already known that though! LOL!

These little journaling boxes are from Maya Road! Aren't they so pretty? All I did was add a sentiment and some bling of course! This was such a simple card!

  1. This is so lovely, Laurie! I tend to make sympathy cards black or grey..but this represents so much more than sympathy in a painful way. It's not cheerful, but it's not so somber either..and that's why I like it so much. Embossing folders, huh? Yeah, that's something I rarely use...LOL

  11. Laurie....I love how you've only embossed part of the card front! Neat idea and I have to agree that this color is so unexpected for a sympathy card but it is just breathtaking.

***I am now needing to find a new way to store all my EF*** :)

  12. WOW. MB is NEVER a color I reach for, but you really displayed it so well. I think the one and only time I ever showcased it on my blog was with black too (and Damask designs), but nothing as stunning as this.
