An attempt at a challenge...

So Michelle over at our Paper Dolls blog, issued this challenge...

"My challenge to you is to create a holiday card or project using non-traditional colors. That doesn't mean you can't use red, green, gold or silver. You just have to incorporate a surprise color in your creation."

So of course, I see first that it is OK to use Red...which I use ALL the time and can't stop using.  So great RED it is...then what color to go with it?  Well, I am sure this doesn't count....I used green.  Not traditional green but still green!  SO I had good intentions!  But here we are with a Christmas colored Christmas card...

And YES....Argyle again!  I told you I couldn't put it down!!

I think this layout is one I use over and over!  So CAS and pretty versatile for a stamped image or just a plain sentiment!

So back to the drawing board!  Michelle...I am going to try again till I can get the challenge right!  :)

Have a great day!

  9. Ha! Well I still love your take on that challenge and thought process you went through to end up with a traditional colour combo for a challenge to use non-traditional colour combos! LOL! Y'know you picked these colours because you know deep down inside that they totally rock for Christmas cards :D
