Here is this month's challenge....
There is always a lot of focus on Christmas in our industry this time of year, as that is what the majority of the population celebrates. However, this month's blog hop is dedicated to those that celebrate winter holidays other than Christmas. Create a project that celebrates Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or some other winter holiday as we embrace everyone's beliefs in a celebration of diversity through paper crafting.
Here is my card....
I know sanding and distressing aren't my usual but I had fun with it! I made the paper using the inspiration from PTI's Halloween paper! I love that stuff!
Just a few pics to show you how I made that little "mat stack"!
Just cut one out, flip it around, line it up with the bottom of the curve...
And there you have a square frame...
And I didn't end up using this piece for this card but I thought I would share....You can do the same with the circle of the mat stack and make the perfect mat for you 1 3/4" circle punch....I don't have the 2" punch so this works for those of us who don't have that tool!
Just line up the circle with the opposite side of the mat stack....
And you have that perfect circle mat!

ReplyDeleteGreat take on a Hanukkah card using some very non-traditional colors. I can see why so many people listed you as their inspiration in the last (I think) PTI blog hop. The tips with the mat stack die are great. It makes the die much more appealing.
