Yep that's right! I have one card for two challenges. (Kind of!) I started with the 2 photos below!
First up, a FAB sketch from 2S4Y!
And a yummy color combo from Play Date Cafe!
As far as the color challenge, I ended up adding in another color so I don't think my card will qualify for the PDC challenge! But I figured I would still add the challenge inspiration pieces here in my post so you could see what I started with!
I am loving the thought of fall coming my way! And I have loved all of the leaves I am seeing in the paper crafting world! These leaves are from a CTMH set called Many Thanks! I don't know if you can see but I added some Stardust Gel Pen to the white leaves in the center of each leaf! It adds some great sparkle IRL! :)

ReplyDeleteGood grief Laurie, we've done it again! I made a card last night with almost the same color scheme and the same LO and it has leaves on it and other elements that are very similar! (I'm going to email it to you because it just cracks me up that this is the second time this has happened!)

Love those autumn leaves, and the twine adds the right element of 'gardeningness' - well, I know what I mean! Gorgeous use of this week's play date colours - as long as the colour story colours are the mainstay of the piece, and any added colours are neutral, you're ok! Thanks for playing :)

With your talent you really should consider entering the challenges over at Papercraft Star http://www.papercraftstar.blogspot.com they are offering a lot of prizes right now too! Oh and they post all of their challenges weeks in advance to give crafters a head start!
