OK back to reality here....stoppin' in with a couple teacher cards, a gift and my bus driver card! Lots of pics so hang on with me! :)
Here is R's teacher card....
Do you like how I covered up my "sewing mistake" with a button in the top right? Hehehe!
So then blog hopping this morning on my GR, I stopped over at the Simplicity blog and found THESE, and said, "I can do that too!" and then added a little PTI Take Note! I finished 10 note cards in about 4 minutes! LOVE them! Hope the teachers do too! (Thank you Susan, for the fantastical idea!)
So I have had this CM die cut for years! I knew one day I would have the perfect thing for it and this year was that year! We have the BEST bus driver EVER so I wanted to make her an extra special card!
I had to add some Glossy Accents to the windows! You can see the clouds through the windows too! So fun!
Hope you all have a fantastic day! I am going to go to my daughter's class later! You can believe I will shed some tears today! I will also be on the hunt for the magic wand that will keep them LITTLE forever!
{sniff, sniff}
Very cute! I really like that first teacher's card! All of these are cute and the bus is adorable (but you already knew that since I already told you!!) LOL!!
ReplyDeleteall of your creations are so fun.. I love them all! xo

ReplyDeleteAwww, Laurie, I'm with you, it is SO HARD to see them grow up (sniff sniff)!! LOVE your teacher card (great cover up with that button lol, I think I'm the queen of covering up mistakes because I make so many of them ;) And those note cards are FANTASTIC, I so wish I had that Take Note set so I could do these! Perhaps I can improvise with what I do have...
ReplyDeletesuper cute! One of the things I love about paper crafting is that I can easily cover up a 'boo-boo' with some little embellishment and say "I meant to do that!". Have a super weekend!!
ReplyDeleteAwwwww... these are all adorable! If you are like this with R, imagine when B goes to school!!! Sorry, not trying to add to the tears ;) I'm sending a big hug your way :)

ReplyDeleteCute teacher card and I love the bus!
ReplyDeleteThese are all really good Laurie! Thank you for visiting my blog. You always have such nice things to say. Thank you for making me smile! :)
ReplyDeleteYou are right where I was a year ago...but now I'm at the 'how can she be old enough to be a 2nd grader!!?!?!' And my second will be starting Kindergarten. These cards are all fabulous. I still need to come up with something for my girls' teachers. I'm taking the 'easy out' and will deliver the Preschool teacher's little note/gift later this week...she lives a few houses away. Is that bad of me? ;)
ReplyDeleteI love that note card stamp! I went on over to Cornish Heritage Farms but couldn't find it. Is it from somewhere else?
ReplyDeleteThx!
