I have a problem.....

I have talked about it before. I get hooked on something and I just can't quit. Kinda like the whole red and kraft paper thing. Before that it was the TAC Oh How set! Recently is was the Valentines Cards. Now it is still Valenines...but I have added something!

I LOVE the script background stamp from TAC! My angel friend, Stacy, made a card that sold me on this stamp! It was sooo cute! Click here to see it! So, of course, the stamp was on my next order!

I made 4 cards today, all different but with that stamp! I have to say that I was inspired to use this stamp and make these flowers that you will see, from The Angel Company contest winner, Melanie Montes de Oca.

This first card is made with Scarlet Red and Aspen CS from TAC and brown bazzill. I used Burnt Umber Palette for the distressing on the card and L'Amoure Red Palette on the heart! I added some red scrappers floss and pop dots for the diminsion!

This next card is a weird size. I think it is 3 3/4 x 5 1/2. I used brown bazzil and aspen cardstock again! Burnt Umber for the words and the distressing! I used the Marvy flower punches, some ribbon and brown scrappers floss to finish!

These next two cards are my fav's! I used the same supplies on this one that I did on the last one! The only thing I did different was the stamping technique! It is called reverse masking! My angel friend, Bridgett, sent me an email to teach me this one!
I punched out the flowers on a scrap piece of cardstock, then laid them down on the Aspen CS and stamped over them with the script background. Then I took a sponge and just dabbed around the punch out until the edges were darker. Did a little masking for the second flower and I was just tickled pink! I hadn't done that technique before and it was really fun! The eyelets are from CTMH. Aren't they adorable!!
This last card was alot of fun too! I used my Cricut to cut out the hearts, stamped and distressed them with Burnt Umber and attached them to the green cardstock wtih glue and the middle one with pop dots! It may be hard to see but I used Mini Bet to stamp "LOVE" on the last heart! My husband says he wants to buy this one for my Valentines Card this year! :)

Well, if you have questions you can always email me! Remember this script background stamp is only $7.95 ! Email me at llwillison@hotmail.com to place on order!
Also, the new Magalogue is going live on Monday! Call me and I can get a copy to you right away! Thanks for looking!!

  1. I love all your cards!!! Awesome job! I think you rocked out the reverse masking technique! I agree...it is a lot of fun! My daughter is 7 and she has been doing this technique with me for a while now and she absolutely loves it, too! All your cards are awesome and I am eager to get the script background, too!

  2. Man, you're making me want that flower punch! I love the one you did with the reverse masking, and the heart with the script on it. I couldn't get the link on TAC to go to the scrapbook page the other day, kept showing me a card. But that is really cool how she did that!

  6. These cards are great! I love that stamp set and I'm always in the lookout of what to do so I can do more things with it. I couldn't ever use the stamped images because they weren't as versatile as the stamp. So after seing the stamped images I knew I wanted it! Thanks for ALL the inspiration!
