Advent Calendar Extravaganza 2017...

Hello crafty friends!  I am so excited to be joining in again this year with Taheerah and the Advent Calendar Extravaganza. I have a project to share and then keep scrolling for the details on the prizes!

Today's card was easy to make.  I used Lil Inkers Geometeric Snow Cover Up to create this vellum background.  I sprayed the Glitter Mist on it after I cut it out and then layered it over kraft cardstock.  I popped up this card front panel on fun foam, offset on the white card base.

I added in Poppy Stamps Small Blooming Poinsettia die to create the flowers.  I did some watercoloring first, and then die cut the flowers.  Last, I attached the Simon Says Christmas Blessings Die in gold cardstock, to the front of the card.

  85. I was so intrigued by the vellum background that I completely missed the poinsettias, until I saw someone else comment on them. I thought the geometric snowflakes had been heat embossed and when you mentioned the vellum I had to go back and take a closer look. That is so neat how you did that. I really like it and the poinsettias too!
