Celebration Inspiration...

Good morning!  It's time for our last Group Project for the Papertrey Ink release.  Today is all about birthdays!  I have three coordinating CAS cards to share.

This first card showcases the new Scene it: Celebration dies.

First, I added in some masked watercolor in the background.  For the focal point, I added the star layer in Gold Adhesive yardstick, the ballon layer in vellum and the top layer in Hibiscus Burst, with the heat embossed sentiment.

This next card is super easy!  I used the dies from Birthday Cheer and cut out Celebrate in Gold Adhesive.

I layered the Confetti Toss paper on a Hibiscus Burst card base to finish it off.  Very quick and simple and easy to mass produce.

And for the last card, I used the same color scheme so they could all coordinate with the Confetti Toss patterned paper.

I stamped out the middle panel and added some Aqua Mist ink blending, as well as a small panel of cardstock behind the sentiment.  I added in a row of banner tails in vellum along with a Gold Embossed sentiment.

So that is it for today! Stop back by tomorrow when we share the rest of the release.  Thanks so much for stopping in!

  1. Psst ... you win! Don't tell the other designers, but your cards are my favourites this morning. That last one? CAS heaven and so lovely; the banners almost look like a little tutu :)

  12. Beautiful cards! I'm curious how you did the watercolor on the first -- you seemed to hit the tops of the texture, but the watercolor did not soak down into the depths. Very interesting!
