Weather Trends...

Welcome to the first group project of the July Papertrey Ink Release.  We have some fun stuff in store for you this week and I can't wait to get started.  Today's sets are my favorite....I love Maile!  :)

This first card is a combo of several things.  First, that sunshine die (which I LOVE) and then Maile's new set called So Striking for the sentiment and a background made with an older set, Hello Sunshine.

I took inspiration from this card I made back in 2012.  I added in the die and setniment and also made it a little bit skinner.  I think this one is a 4" x 5 1/2" card.

The inside of this card is stamped with Tucked In: Thinking of You.

This next card showcases the Cover Plate: Rainy Day Die and So Striking.

I used the Rainy Day cover plate as a stencil by die cutting a large adhesive sheet.  I sponged on some Hawaiian Shores just for some subtle color.  Next, I masked the sentiment and added in the "smile" die with a little color behind it.  The color?  Fun foam!

I found this fun foam in my stash and it matches Hawaiian Shores perfectly!  I love how it reflects color onto the white card base.

Here are the rest of the stops to make today.  I can't wait to see what Weather Trends the rest of the DT has for us.  :)
