You fill my day...

I have another card today using the March Simon Says Stamp Card Kit.  I adore the little rainbow stencil that comes in the kit.  I used some Simon Says inks to color it up....

The could from the Heart Rainfall die was perfect to add under the rainbow.  Then I added in the sentiment in Versafine and the little sequins that come in the kit.  I sewed the card front on to the card base with some messy stitched lines....which was hard for me in my symmetrical, CAS brain....but I did it.  ha!

I am getting ready to head outside for a little.  It snowed again.  What's new right?  How is the weather where you are?  I hope you are warm!

Thanks for stopping by!

  2. I love that sweet little rainbow! Such a great pop of color! And the mix of fonts in the sentiment is fabulous! It's cold here in the mountains this morning, a few inches of snow last night...but the sky is blue and the sun is shining---that's Colorado for ya, right?!?! Coming to town anytime soon?!?! Miss you!

  4. Another fun card! I have been enjoying your blog so much. We only got a dusting of snow here in the Great Lakes area, but it is very cold today...and tomorrow...

  5. "Sweet" is the word, Laurie! The first thing I thought of when I saw the card is how touched the recipient will be to receive it! Where I am (San Diego) we've had just about the warmest winter on record, but are expecting rain soon. I'm seriously so excited, LOL!

  7. Cute card and love the stitching! You may be jealous. I love in Nogal, NM and the weather for the highs has been in the 60's but very dry. We need snow. Hope you have some warmer weather soon.
