Sketch time...

I just have to say right off here, that I love this RetroSketch challenge!  I have so much fun every week coming up with a card to share!  And then I can't wait to see what everyone else creates throughout the week!  This week's sketch is no exception!  The original card is a GORGEOUS card from Jackie!  Seriously gorgeous!  You can check it out HERE.  So here is my card for this week...

I was trying to do the whole pattern paper thing again here...layering several different patterns together.  I found a couple of flower that matched the card base perfectly!  I was pretty excited.  I used a Paper Smooches sentiment and some black pearls to finish it off!

Here is this weeks sketch...

Thank you SO much for stopping in!  Your visits and comments are so appreciated!  Have a great day!

  2. Beautiful card, Laurie. Your selection of patterned paper comes together so well and the large solid piece of cardstock pulls from the yellow flowers so nicely. And your flowers look like they were made just for the patterned paper.

  3. Great color choices, I want those black pearls!!! This is about as close to shabby as I like to get, not too cluttered, but still a lot to see. It's a happy medium, for my taste anyway!

  4. I always look forward to seeing what you create. I agree..great sketch..again. Love the PP you used. I was just telling my hubby I should give away a bunch of my PP I've had for years. Now I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't :) Beautiful was as always. Have a blessed weekend.
